And I remember that game, despite the goal, he had issues playing so upfront, having the goal to his back as a forward did NOT work for him, physically struggled to ward off his marks when he was forced to be so high up. When he got freedom to be all over the place in 2nd half, is when he improved. But a fixed position in higher position doesnt suit him (was Same in Azzurrini when forced to play forward, in Olympics, against Cameroon, being that high up made him suffer), not his thing to have the goal to his back when receiving the ball. But to play off the area between midfield and defence at will as a Fantasista, and to find space in the wings as much as possible when moving around.

Stinko is finished as a player. Even his fans are losing faith in him.

If we were ever going to loan a player somewhere, Stinko should have went to Arsenal.

Juventus just destroys young talent.

haha wtf?! I can't believe some of you are calling Giovinco ruined and want to sell him, he played poorly in two games give the kid a goddamn chance. So what if he's not as good as Del Piero or Diego? Del Piero is a legendary player and Juve's top all time goalscorer, Diego is soon to prove himself as one of the best players in Europe possibly one of the next great trequartista's. How much can you expect from a 21 year old with very limited top level experience. He will get his time, Diego can't play every game.

Its funny that Gio moaned about not getting playing time, yet when he gets it he doesn't put in the performances to back up his words. I'm as much as a Gio fanboy than the next man, but it seems he can't get that spark of magic going.

Hopefully a couple of good performances or a goal will set him alight.

Gio cant play as tretaquista, he must play free role, and he cant play as second striker because he's the one who assist not the one who will score :)

Cassano plays second striker for Sampdoria and he was serie A top assistman last year and the leader in assist in the league this year.
