:boh:

I taunt Celtic fans about their club's alleged paedophilia and Stein's alleged knowledge of it, but I've no idea if there is any truth to the claim.

Good, comfortable win on Saturday, albeit against a very poor side.

Langfield

Logan-Taylor-Reynolds-Hayes

McGinn-Flood-Jack-Pawlett

Goodwillie-Rooney

Changing to 4-4-2 was interesting.

Normally our midfield is so strong that we dominate pretty much everyone and end up pushing them back.

That becomes an issue as it means playing against a deep, packed defence in every other home game.

Playing with one less central midfielder was almost a calculated weakening of ourselves so as to engineer a more open game and not close up the spaces that our creative players want to operate in.

It worked well, but it's something I would only do at home against the worst few teams in the league.

Anyway, encouraging signs in this game and the one agaisnt Partick that we are learning how to consistently win these home games against poor teams, which is something we failed to do last season.

Reasonably strightforward dismissal of a lower-league team.

Brown

Logan-Taylor-Reynolds-Hayes

Low--Flood--Jack--Pawlett

Rooney-Goodwillie

With Livingstone playing three in midfield, Aberdeen spent most of the first hour performing tactical contortions to try and avoid being outnumbered in midfield.

Still, they never really looked like hurting us and we had plenty of chances to finish the game in the first half.

Now waiting with a horrible feeling to find out how serious Jack's knee injury is.

And Rooney is now up to 10 goals for the season.

Pretty damn good before the end of September.

Celtic lost (again)
Hamilton's first win at Parkhead since 1938. :D

This must be the best chance a non-Old Firm side has had to win the title in a long time? @Red
Yup.

Our schedule is Hamilton (A), Motherwell (H), Ross County (A), Celtic (H).

If we can get at least seven points from the three games before playing Celtic, it should set up a cracking game.

I think we are the only team other than Celtic has has any realistic chance to get to something that could be a title-winning total.

We got 68 points last year.

If we can get over 75 this year, we won't end up all that far away.

We're two points better off than we were at the same point last season.

Not a good performance at Dens, but a big win.

You can argue who our best player is, but Hayes and Jack are the two most tactically important players in the squad and two players we have no adequate replacement for. Any away win without those two can only be seen in a positive light, not matter how little there was in the performance itself to be positive about.

3,455 Dons fans at the game.

Well this is starting to get rather troubling.

We had built a great foundation last season and just needed to figure out a way to score a few more goals at home to convert a few draws into wins.

To do that, McInnes has decided to play two strikers, but he hasn't yet figure out how to balance the team while playing two strikers.

And he is also playing two stikers away from home, instead of the lovely 4-2-3-1 that was used in putting together such a strong away record last season.

So in the quest to score a few more goals, McInnes is going a long way towards fucking up last season's good work.
