He's injured right now, no?

Marseille are in trouble, they just changed the coach (Eric Gerets, ex Galatasaray, Psv, Brugge). It's seen as Pape Diouf's last chance, so I really really don't think they'll let Nasri go in January. Having let Ribery go, despite the money, is still hurting them, and Diouf surely doesn't want to dig his own grave.

I think it will all depend on OM's season. They're playing CL right now, if they fail to qualify for next season's CL, I expect Nasri to ask for being transferred.
Yes Nasri is injured now..and the problem really isnt in the coaches, its in Pape Diouf IMO..changing managers every year..Jean Fernandez was doing a good job for them 3 seasons ago..but they fired him cos Diouf was impatient he wanted immediate results..now the same happened to Albert Emon..the same thing is going to happen to Gerets, there is absolutely no way L'OM can succeed this way.they should hire a manager and give him enough time to rebuild the team.

The problem with Pape Diouf is that he feels the breat of R-L Dreyfus in his neck. The guy is the biggest shareholder and is known to be quite intrusive. Commentators in France revealed that Dreyfus send an emmissary for a week, ad at the end of that week ... Emon was sacked.
Now Emon is still at the club (technical director or something) which will not facilitate Gerets' work, altough e's a though guy. Whitstanding the pressure at Galatasaray for three years tells you something....
OM is a hot headed clb, Gerets is hot headed coach. I expect some fireworks!
And everyone remembers what happened last time belgian coach took over Marseille...

ya,Anigo was also their manager, then they fired him as manager and kept him at the club..strange club L'OM is.
Strange man Pape Diouf is. Do you know that he was Nasri's agent?

He started as a sport journalist, then moved to be a players agent. Basile Boli, Marcel Desailly, Sylvain Armand, Didier Drogba, Nasri... He was pretty succesful and influential on the canebiere.
In 2003 he entered the Marseille management, two years later he was chosen president by R. Louis-Dreyfus.

Until today he remains the only black president of a football club in first national league in the whole of Europe.

I prefer a replacement for Neddy,a natural LMF/LWF,not someone that would be forced to change his position if he join us...Anyway Nasri is excellent BUT needs $$$

But who says we won't change our playing style to build the team around the Nedved replacement?

Apparently Zidane is helping Juve in trying to land Nasri.
Really?

Have we ever been really linked with Nasri?I wouldn't mind him and he seems far better than Meghni,he is already pretty proven, even on the international stage.Live I haven't seen much of him, maybe 3-5 games, but judging by the Youtube-videos and his reputation,I say we should go for him if we have a chance to get him.People may say "Giovinco here and Giovinco there" again, but I don't think it'd be a problem to start with both of them.

Or new Zidane? :p
If we have to choose between him and Benzema,i`d say Nasri.I know its stupd to judge by vidos but anyway compilation about Nasri. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6L3RtJKv1o
Benzema and Nasri aren't compareable, the one is a striker a la Trezeguet, the other is a kind of playmaker. If I have to choose I would easily go for Nasri,he is what we need, creativity,Benzema is what we aren't in need of, a goal-poacher IMO.

Anyway we`ll not sign both of them, just one, maybe. We`ll probably need around 20 milion euros for Nasri but if some sh*t cross in our way(Inter) i would buy Jeremy Menez.
