Rules re: insulting loaned/co-owned players (14 Viewers)

Should the forum rules protect loaned/co-owned players from insults?

  • Yes, they belong to Juve whether they currently play for us or not

  • No, if they're not part of our squad, they're not considered Juventus players.

Ask you to stop it? I'm a member here. I couldn't give a serious shit about what you post and how you post it, unless you'll do the same with me. Oh, and the hypocrite that you are, you're telling me that you don't think I want to put an end to this, and here you are, creating this mega farce which is truly much bigger than what some of us were doing in Giovinco's thread.

I respect how consistent you are with your hypocrisy though, all around these years.
The only reason you think this is a farce is because the purpose of this debate does not favour you.

Poor taste or not, it was something that only few people can do, and you have the pleasure to be part of those few people. Consider that a personal accomplishment. It's obvious that you would think what you did is not worse than simply stating Fuck Giovinco.

I'm done with this. Once you grown ups decide how you're going to deal with this situation, make it official for everyone to see.
Month-long, co-ordinated, organized and purposeful spamming is truly worse than 1 instance of a poor statement made in the heat of the moment.

There shouldn't be rules about this sort of stuff. People should realise when they go too far.
What happens when they don't realize it? What happens when they realize that they've gone too far and continue to do it anyway?

I think we have a war of escalation. The more people shower Giovinco with Giovi-luv, the more the "fuck midget Giovinco"s come out, which in turns breeds more Giovi-luv, etc. The cycle escalates and continues to where it's now like a comedy: we've got people spewing hate on a player who has been done wrong by the club in the past and has proven himself to be good and capable, and we have other people burying their head in the sand about their beloved Giovinco showing entitlement greater than even Miccoli in his worst days and "wearing his AC Milan socks" as much as Balotelli did at Inter.

We're well beyond the point of people listening and more to becoming more polarized caricatures of a one-sided truth.
Oh, we've got a war of escalation.

I don't really agree with the Giovinco entitlement arguments, or that he's "wearing his AC Milan socks" - I think those are fine discussion points though. At times I feel like there are a lot of liberties taken in the interpretation of those bullshit FI/Goal.com grade articles, sometimes the inaccuracies get recycled and amplified like that kids game broken telephone, things take on a life of their own.

Each language has nuances, some are shared, some not. Beyond that, lazy sports journalists cherry pick a few quotes out of context from an original interview/article, the quotes are then translated from Italian to English by writers who often don't recognize said context/nuances, and then those translated articles are widely read by people whose second or third language is English. There's bound to be occasional incongruencies in what was actually said, and what is understood. That's unavoidable, really.

The reality is that I'm ultimately quite impressed by the English of so many forum members who speak 2 and 3 languages - or more. Seriously impressed. What's your first language, Swag? :p

I keed, I keed, buddy.

i got an infraction because i said "$#@! agnelli"....i didn't go so far, he deserves this every day, every hour, every minute...so does giovinco
I say lets not. At the end of the day and on papers Agnelli is Juventus President even though he's a no history man and he's a no one without the chair.

We can always insult him on Whatsapp Tuz group.

Edit: Wait, Sheik is also there. Let's do it through PM's.

You can always create a new 'F@#$ Agnelli' group on WhatsApp and add your buddies there and spam the fuck away!

May I remind you all that regardless of the outcome of all of this, random outbursts insulting players are still considered spamming/derailing.

A short moment of reflection & contemplation is needed. I say everybody pack your bags & head to the mountains. Be one with spirits & levitate.

It's a committee actually, Sheik, Zlatan, Graham and Osman.

What about Giovinco? Are we still allowed to say FUCK Giovinco or is it considered a felony nowadays?

    Fuck Jewinco!

Here's my 2 cents, instead of the term 'Juve player' that rule should apply to persons who qualify under the term 'Juventino'.

Giovinco has lost his Juventinity by acting like a whiny little midget, so he may be insulted.
