I think you guys have already covered all possible scenarios with Alen-Joker situation. The one fact I can't reconcile as Alen mentioned is why would he start the vote on the suspected CC/recruiter? it dosent make much sense to me knowing Alen, there are two possibilities here as I see it:
1. Alen is a C who just voted Joker (who can be either a C or a G) to start a bandwagon and see who jumps on it as he thought Joker is a obvious C and voting him will expose G's who follow the vote without much reason.
Then the all thing backfired when too many people followed his voting. With so many voting you couldn't tell the G's from the C's, almost everyone went Joker. He then might have pulled his move to see how those people who voted Joker would react to gain more info about those who voted as there was just to many votes to tell.
2. Alen is a G who voted Joker ( a C) to start a bandwagon for reasons Voller and Fred already mentioned. He can't be a G who protected a more important G (Joker) imo, he wouldn't have started the voting on him at the first place.
Either both are C's or just one of them a G imo, at the moment I still don't know what I find more likely

What I make of this saga is this:
I don't think the logic of both Alen and Tomice are Gs makes sense. Alen started the voting on j0ker as was said multiple times. Sure, Alen is challenging but not stupid. There was simply no need to. So let's say that one of them was a G at least.
Let's start with Alen as a G and j0ker as a C. Why would Alen save j0ker with 3 minutes to deadline? It could be that he knew he was a C by being a G himself, and considering most of us were willing to lynch him (8 votes), he could have thought we were still gonna lynch him today and he'll earn our trust by him turning out to be a C and he can say that we should have listened to him. He could have also been fishing for stupid special role Cs.
Alen as a C and j0ker a G. Alen is Alen and you never know with him, but considering j0ker's reaction when he was about to get lynched, it screams that he's a C. Plus I think his G buddies would have tries to save him earlier.
I'm leaning towards Alen right now.
