If a player who was amongst the 3 best players on the field is "a raw player" and "needs to be more polished", then i honestly cant wait too see in what monster he'll turn into !

this guy is only 23 years old, we are gonna have him putting up top performances for the next 10 years here if he stays healthy. and now that i think about it, imagine how good he will be when he enters his best years, between 26-31, when he spends 3-4 seasons at the team, improves even more and develops a better chemistry with Pogba, Vidal, Morata etc. he is this good in his debut season at a big club like Juve, while being played in a role that isnt the best for him and isnt getting all his strengths out of him. congratulation on a monster season so far Roberto, keep it up

also, im glad we have decided to pay the full price Udinese asked instead of looking for alternatives, it paid off greatly for us. :beppe:

I thought he was the only player that could have gone through with some dribbling skills, and was pretty disappointed when he got subbed. Well done Pereyra, improve and improve is all i can ask from him!

nobody rated him when he signed now everyone's saying that he's still raw and want him to become Messi. he's been really solid lately, don't recall a bad match from him since the winter break. only player in our squad that dominates 1v1 duels or even 1v2. yeah he's not that good at shooting or finishing but that's why we've got strikers too. still a great player even if he won't explode into Maradona like half the forum is expecting from him now that he's had some great matches. can't get someone like him for the price we paid in today's calcio. we should be happy for this reason alone.

actually you are the one who exaggerate his value. we don't compare him to Messi nor Maradona, but what about Pastore and such players who are capable of adding value to the team. and btw PSG has Ibra and Cavani. some juve fans still unsatisfied about Vidal's performance even though he improved defensively, and this is because we need his goals and assists. we need final product from Vidal and Peryrea even from licht and evra. this is the requirements for our system.

I don't hate the guy, but at the end of the day assists and goals are important. and this guy still needs to improve his game.

Stop drolling over dribbling, it is true that lack a lot of it, but it should not come at the expense of performance.
Pereyra was terrible with Monaco, he was responsible for ruining most of our attacking efforts, mostly by horrific passing, decision making and shooting.
The only reason he was fielded as a starter was because Pogba wasnt available and we have paid dearly for that lack of quality.
He is not the only dribbler in the world you know... Esp for a 20mil subber...

Like it happened with Isla, Marotta is likely to pay his annual 20mil tribute to the Pozzo family.
Pereyra was not juve starter material and will never will be.
There is a lot of misplaced hope and admiration, only because he can dribble. We ve seen it with Amauri and many other failures, that it can only impress only for a few moments, but when the end product keeps pilling up garbage, only the bitter taste remains...
