He was not brought in to be a world beater. I think he is growing in the team and think we are better when hes the attacking midfielder and Marchisio is DM. He has the ability to break down the smaller opponents although im not sure he is ready for the big guns in Europe quite yet. Give him a break he has gotten better every game I've seen of him this season
Agreed. Not crazy about him behind the strikers but he is steadily improving. Great engine for sure.

I thought he played better behind the strikers than when he dropped back.
He is improving behind the strikers, I will give him that. What's important is he is getting better. Nice to have a player that can play in a couple different roles effectively.

Glad the change in view from the posters...all im saying is he wasnt brought in to be a game changer. HE ISNT but he has been improving and I think he gives us great depth and something different at the same time. We have 4 great midfielders we dont need our 5th choice to be a huge signing

This guy is the real deal, he can only improve in the future.

The thing he needs to improve as soon as possible is his confidence in front of the goal. His finishing is dreadful.

Good game from him. He's pacey, quick, good dribbler, fantastic crosser. I have no doubt who I'd start at TQ role if the choice is between him and Vidal. And before few think I've meant that Pereyra is better player than Chilean, it's absolutely not the case. Vidal in form is one of the most complete midfielders in the world, but as TQ Pereyra should definitely start ahead of him.

good game. he closed down their players a lot and was causing them problems when running with the ball.
