We survived Zidane because we got Nedved thuram and Buffon with Zidabe´s money, who was sold in good form and at the peak of his value. Also, when we sold Zidane, we came from a very lackluster season with Ancelotti, and the team needed a good shake.
Vidal is a loved figure inside the locker room and in the stadium, and his sale would be not as juicy because of his form and unknown future of his knee. The team is not needing a sacrificial lamb to fund a lot of top signings like when we sold Zidane.
When Zidane was sold, we had nothing to lose because we had him in his prime...and had alot to gain because the team was not working and we needed the cash.

In fact we have to keep all our mids because Pirlo is at the end of the road with us. He might leave after this season or next one but we need them all.

All it takes is for a few poor games for a lot of people on this forum to scream "SELL"...not even the likes of Vidal are sacred anymore

He's contracted to the end of next season, so I guess we'll keep him till then. I can see him playing for a year or two in the MLS afterwards.
