P.S.: Nina if you have rai 2 have a look to "dribbling" (around 13-30 Italian time), if you haven't see the new Diadora TV commercial yet, dribbling is the best moment to see it, they schow it almost every time ;)
Thank you for letting me know! :cheesy: Didn't catch it today, but will certainly stay near TV next Saturday :)

Actually today they didn't schow the commercial ; let's hope they will schow it the next time :)
The diadora TV commercials are always very ! I remember the one with Baggio, Vialli and Weah playing vs a team of real lions and the the one with Baggio and Peruzzi playing golf... but this one is the best! Is just with him, blak and white... well I'm not going to tell you all... cause I hope you will catch it in rai soon :D

I'm very happy to hear this from you, Alex! :extatic:
I think more you know about Baggio and you follow him, more you like him :) He's just wonderful :star: :strong: :star: When he was younger he was able to do anything he wanted, he was just unstoppable:strong:! And he's still doing amazing things also now that he's almost 36 and he has semi-destroyed knees. He may lost a bit of his physical power so you will not see him anymore doing all the field running with the ball or schooting to the net from faraway but the skill is still the same... when he get the ball looks like it is sticked to his feet, and when he decide to give it to somebody he will do it exately on his foot or on his head. It's a schame that Brescia matches are not so covered internationally... It's a big lost 4 who can't see him playing, cause as Gianni Rivera (A guy who knows what it means to play soccer) said recently:
"Baggio is the only player who, when I am in front of the TV, make me stick there without changing channal. When he will quit it will be the end." :touched:
Well maybe I will still watch to the games, but it will be difficolt to have fun like I have watching at the Divin Codino.

Baggio went to Modena with his teammates, but only tomorrow it will be sure if he plays, but Mazzone is optimist: "I will never risck a player determinant like Roberto Baggio. I will never put his healt in danger and if I called him it's cause I think he will make it to play".

In the ass of the wolf, Roby! ;)

(That's how we say good luck here in Italy :D)

Well Baggio is not my generation, that's why I'm not as fascinated as you guys, otherwise I probably would be. He was on scene before I got into soccer.

Of course...
It's a pity 4 you  but every body missed or will miss some player, I was just in time to see the end of Maradona career and we all missed Pelè 4 example
But at least is very easy to see Baggio old goals and matches whyle 4 player like Pele, Sivori, Boniperti, Eusebio, ecc... is impossible to see so mutch and good quality staff, cause it was too long ago.

P.S.: one of the things I like more of Baggio is that when he's alone in front of a goal keeper or a defender is almost sure that they will end on the ground and he will run away with the ball. They must hate him 4 this :D

I remember Zamorano :extatic: face when thanking Roby after a perfect assist he did this way.
Must be fun 4 the attakkers to play whit him :D

I think I will follow Del Piero until he retires, he has been the inspiration for me all these years. Of course there are others too but somehow Alex to me is the personification of so many things related to the sport. But I guess we all have one favorite above all the others.

It also has something to do with being there early I think. It's exciting to follow a player's career when you've known of them from the time they were young and promising. That wasn't the case for me with Del Piero, he was already well into his career. But with Kluivert, Aimar it was like that, from early on I've been following their development.

But you also have players you discover a bit late in their careers, like Djorkaeff and Zamorano, and you kind of wish they would never retire.

:)

The "unlucky" thing of beeing a Baggio fan is that after seen his magics everybody you start to follow soon or lately dissapoint you :D I never seen somebody able to do such amazing things!
Also I have to say that the others championschips are not so covered here in Italy so all we see about the players who do not play here are the WC and the CL when they are playing vs some Italian teams. Real Madrid is the only one who they schow frequintly, so I can follow Raul, he do not disappoint me :), also if I was waiting something more special in the WC from him. Than I'm trying to follow Ronaldinho, cause he impressed me in the WC but they never schow PSG .
Of the Italians I think Miccoli is promising very well, he remind me a bit of Roby sometimes :thumb: but I want to see him taking the ball from his penalty area, dribble everybody and score almost one time and doing something who will make all the world screaming almost in a WC before saying he's the "new Baggio" ;)
Anycase I see him as "the new Italian star" 1000 times better than Cassano...

Actually I got interested in the game largely thanks to Championship Manager. And since they show so few games here in Norway many of the players I follow I've never even seen play once. But I still find it interesting to follow, don't quite know why even.. :D

Miccoli is really something and I'm quite happy we let Roma have Cassano with all his bad temper and arrogance.. :D

people often ignore baggio as a juve legend but he was...he really was...if zidane was, baggio definitely was...

I saw the game (also if I was switching ofetn to check out Perugia Inter too), Roby played well the first half, looked a bit tired the second, but it was a very tens and defensive match so there was not too mutch scoring occasion 4 him and 4 Modena too. There was a penalty on Toni that the referee didn't validate... shame, that could be an other goal 4 Roby

I am used too see many games, in TV and also at the stadium, so it is really difficolt 4 me to follow players that I don't see, like 4 examlpe Aimar, I'm very courios about him but they don't scow Valencia here...
I saw Juve and Baggio teams at the stadium so many times... I saw Real once also, when thay played vs Inter. I was curios about Raul... but that day Roby really schowed he was still "the king" scoring 2 wonderful goals :thumb:

Yesterday Roby was at Isokinetik (a rehabilitation center in Bologna where he always go when he has problems) to do a check 4 the back pain who is bodering him this season.

The doctor who visited him was interviewed and said: <<Roby may have a lot of scares and 2 fragile kness, but his body condition is "sub-human", "divine like him", if we want to say it like that. He has no limits, he dribbled also his identity card, and he can definitly play other 2 or 3 years at top level>>
That's good to hear! :extatic:
Actually he said he will finisch this season and do the next than quit, but who knows... he may change idea ;)

P.S.:
:D Anycase looks like he soffer the cold more than the others :D
