They are!
Kovac did serve us well. However Robert has not picked up since his injury and he is getting on. It's time to say "Thanks Robert! Goodbye and good luck!"

Any reasons why he leave?
The coach/management didn't count on him in upcoming season ?
His decision to leave ?
Contract end ?

'Cos i value him very high as a defender.

If the news is confirmed , thanks for all you've done for Juve , Robert.

Juve release Kovac Saturday 9 June, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus defender Robert Kovac has agreed a deal with Dynamo Zagreb, according to the Croatian club.

“Next season Kovac will play for us,” announced Dynamo general manager Zdravko Mamic.

“He still has two years left on his contract with Juve, but he is no longer appreciated by them, so he has agreed a move with us that we will sign next week.”

The 33-year-old international is set to put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Zagreb and according to the local media will earn £1.3m per season.

Kovac joined the Bianconeri as a free agent from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2005, but failed to impress due to poor form and a series of injuries.

He only notched up 18 appearances in his first campaign and 17 in Serie B this year.

It will be the first time the Croatian international has played in that country, as he was born in Berlin and spent his entire pre-Juventus career in Germany.

Welcome Robert :)

Zagreb, 08.06.2007. 21:17 (Vipnet)

It basically says that Kovac signed a 3 year contract with Dinamo Zagreb and that he's very pleased. Bla bla bla and Dinamo will try for his brother Niko that currently plays for Salzburg

Although I would've liked if he had stayed but I will be the first to thank him for the performances especially last season. And staying with us this season and helping the team.

He deserves to be playing regularly and we can't provide that, its good that hes finishing his career in his homeland.

Thank you & Good luck, Robert.

For those who forgot, he was one of the first players that decided to stay with us last summer.

I would prefer to sell him for 300,000 at least,
esp since he has 2 more years with us by contract,
but i guess he doesnt even worth that much...

Im getting the idea a lot of players feel that way..

He would have been useful backup for next season but farewell kovac.
