the main thing is that I don't think the players really believe in him anymore...you are not hearing guys like Chiellini or Buffon coming out with statements in his favour...perhaps it is time for Juve to let go

Prandelli would be perfect, although i think he's a very loyal manager and he's really building something with Fiorentina, i cant see him leaving them.

Just because no one has mentioned this name yet i will bring it up:

DISCLAIMER: The disclosure of this name by NO MEANS indicates that he would be my preferred choice, or even in my top 3. The reason for bringing up this name is his current availability and previous history of success in the Italian League.

I think it is worth a mention anyway as i would like to see what other people think of him..... Sven Goran Eriksson?

It's past noon and neither has he resigned nor has he got the boot.
my thots exactly...been snooping around internet sites looking for breaking news on Juventus...ZILCH....I cannot believe it ...Ranieri is still here??!!

i think the board are hell-bent on lippi n since he won't be available until 2010,the cheaper option is to stick with ranieri

but when u give an employee targets,n he fails 2 meet any of them then his position should be re-considered...a board with balls and a passion for success would have sacked ranieri by now

Media has started with "juve board/coach are under fire" and so...we should hear something from them today to calm everyone down and hopefully it will be something good (which I doubt) this time.
Gigli - "We still have every faith in ranieri and we're still in the hunt for the peace cup he will see out his contract and plans have been drawn up to extend it"
