I didn't say he was a liar. I just presented a situation that you refuse to consider. And even in that situation I didn't say he lied, he just didn't reveal the whole truth. You follow politics and you know how statements can be skewed.
It just doesn't seem likely to me. Deschamps is a professional individual and leaving just because the club doesn't have Chelsea-like money (they certainly had some) doesn't seem probable.

Deschamps insisted on buying Boumsong. We would have never bought him if not for Deschamps. We would have bought someone cheaper and younger from Italy.
In order to get Boumsong we had to pay him huge wages, and we did, because the coach wanted him.
But the point is, Boumsong was one of the only household names that would join us. The top youngsters in Serie B probably wouldn't want to sign on with Juventus at the time either. Wages or not, he wanted to build the best squad he could to get back to A ASAP.

Well, since the site is so slow, I will put my feelings about Ranieri in here:

You may know, that I was one of those, who said we should wait and see, how the season ends and take our time, before we decide to fire CR. However, this match turned things around. I don't see any point in keeping him. What was that, Claudio Duckface? Keeping your best players on the bench, just to sub them after the break??? I don't get it. Was the long ball tactic so good?

I say, out NOW! A red card in 3 (!!!) games in a row shows, that CR doesn't have anybody under control and this is over right now. Sack him!

edit: I voted for someone else. I can see us getting Gigi Del Neri, and I like it. He has always had teams, that play nice football, and he deserves another chance at a big club!

I voted for melasani, and believe me or not, i dont even know who the fuck is he
 didn't think that someone else will vote for malesani besides me. He's not the best out of the names mentioned up there (by today's standard) but i like he's tactics. He's parma team of the late 90's is one of my favourite all time "Italian" teams. I Remember that team playing some of the most beautifull football in italy back then and he actually won the Uefa cup.

I think he'll hit it big one day if he ever took over a big club (or maybe not who knows  )....
