Palla has shown his great potential on a number of occasions, but he needs to be able to put in a good performance in several games in a row. He has had his chances this season, and not performed. He's obviously at his best as a left winger or as a media punta, but he needs to play his best whereever he gets his chances. As Camos replacement earlier this season he was very poor.

I believe in Palla for Juve in the future, but perhaps a season on loan in another Serie A club would be the right thing for him.

At the moment, Giovinco is looking far more like a replacement for Nedved than Palla is.

I hope you're all right about the giovinco-thing. I mean i really hope he will be up to the expectations, and i do actually believe he is. But the pressure he will be facing will definately be different than in empoli, and it's not sure that we won't see the same thing like palla happening to giovinco.
Anyway, let's not unnecessary worsen things. As for palla, i'm saying again; giving him away will be a big mistake. In 1 or 2 years time, 1st squad playing time experienced, he can be great. he has the feet, he lacks a little the eye, but that's something you get with time. I'm a little worried he won't stay; recently in an interview with ranieri i think he said something like "with CL, we definately need a 4th striker" (trez, dp, iaq, + ? - where is palla?) so either we give him away, or CR doesn't count him as a striker.... anyway, let's hope for the best. Palla is a good guy, i'd be disappointed to see him somewhere else, because he has the heart for juve too

Palladino is regarded as one of Italy’s most talented young players, and he put in a man-of-the-match performance last night, scoring a brilliant goal in the 3-0 win over Parma.

The Neapolitan seems almost certain to be sold though at the end of the season, in order to make way for Palermo hitman Amauri.
However Palla says he would love to stay, providing Juve have space for him in the first team.

“It’s nice to get a goal during a period when I haven’t been playing much,” he stated.

“Am I unsettled? No, but it’s obvious that it is important for a young player to be getting games.

“At the end of the season I will talk to the club, but Juve remain my priority and my objective is to do well here.

“If I do leave, it will be a decision made after discussions with the club and it won’t be a matter of my desire to go. “If the club have a use for me then I will stay, if not we will see.

“Did I refuse Palermo as part of the Amauri deal? No, I haven’t turned down any destination and haven’t spoken to any other club because I am focused on this season with Juve,” he concluded.

I have always considered him a great player for the future, I had a lot of reactions on that, but so be it. I realy hope he stays with us, if he works a bit (a lot) on his crosses, he could be a great winger too.

I think Palladino should go. If Giovinco arrives he will play on the left side with Nedved. Amauri will surely (or not) come and it's an another bad thing for Palla. He can't compete for a starting role with DP, Trez, Iaquinta, Amauri. Maybe he could play on the right as Camo's sub but when he played on the right he was weak and he always talks about getting into the national team so it's not option to stay here as a sub. It's a hard choice and not an easy situation.

Am pretty sure that giovinco is a bitter player than pala. Paladino is good and have decent skills that can be usefull for the team but IMO gio is a complete other class, he's cool (never saw him tense) and doesn't try to exaggerate his moves plus his passes r really great. All what he need is just a chance to play in juve (last year in his first game with juve he impressed many people and created a goal)......

well , he covered a lot, and as you said, he has been watching Sissoko play from bench well. He did have quite few bad passes , but so Tiago, DP, Camo ..
For me Brazzo was not that bad as some says..He covered well too..

Juventuseffect :melayyanandmessi: ?

No, seriously I loved the style how juventus played this term. the team is very united , there is a coherence between the three lines. I'm very proud of all the players. Credit to C.R who managed to show us the spirit of juventus.

we are a very tight bunch, i think one of the closest groups going around.

If are going to sell Palla then it better be to a team in another league, just in case he fullfills his potential.
:agree:

although i still hope we dont sell him
