I say 15m and its a deal. Jaan Klaas...anybody? Nocerino, Marchisio and Giovinco are the gems we should be holding on too. No offense to anybody here, but I do find Palladino is a tad overrated.

The thing is with palla is that the kid has loads of potential technically and has a good head as well. I mean he can dribble very, good with both feet along with some good thinking and vision.

The problem with him is the decision making and some teamwork aspects but those come in with game time and experience.

I still have some faith in him and hope Ranieri has some in him aswell and sees him as a player that bring in something different to the squad not just that dreaded 5th striker role.

He set-up some good chances for Trezeguet, although Palla wasn't realy visible trough the whole game.
He scored a goal we all expected him to score, but some people here act like if he doesn't play like Messi, he sucks and we should get rid of him etc etc.

Palla is good . He has potential and he would make a good sub for now . Im very impressed with Giovinco though . He's incredible , I saw a couple of Empoli games this season and he makes the Empoli players look like amateurs . This guy is really something speacial . I can't wait for his return to Juve .

Juventus Look To Renew Palladino Contract

After Alessandro Del Piero finally signed a new contract yesterday, Juventus are now aiming to tie young starlet Raffaele Palladino to a long-term deal at the club.

Palladino is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Italy and his current contract with the Bianconeri runs out in 2010.

The 23-year-old currently earns €400,000 a year and under new FIFA transfer regulations, he could legally buy out his contract next summer.

A number of English clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be very interested in bringing Palladino to the Premiership and the Juventus hierarchy are eager to ensure this doesn't happen by offering him a new deal. Tuttosport is claiming today that the striker will soon be presented with a new deal worth €800,000 a season.

Palladino is just one of a host of hot-prospects owned by Juventus at the moment. Cristian Molinaro, Antonio Nocerino, Claudio Marchisio and Sebastian Giovinco are all touted as possible future Italy internationals.

Indeed Nocerino will make his Azzurri debut tonight in the friendly against 2010 World Cup hosts South Africa in Siena.

Juventus striking starlet Raffaele Palladino has restated his commitment to the Old Lady, despite his lack of playing time in Turin.

The 23-year-old is behind David Trezeguet, Alessandro Del Piero and Vincenzo Iaquinta in the hierarchy of strikers and is likely to have to settle for a seat on the bench for most of the campaign.

There were whispers that the ex-Livorno man may opt to join Fiorentina or move abroad during the summer, but Palladino’s love for the club he supported as a child is unwavering.

“Being a Juve fan makes it a special experience wearing this shirt,” he told Sky Sports Italia. “That’s why I was happy to stay and always will be.

“I spent a year in Serie B with this team and it was a year from Hell, but I gave everything and I saw myself mature.

“I’ve had offers from foreign clubs and interest from the Viola, but there was never any doubt that I would stay.”

Iaquinta has shaken off his injury troubles, so Palladino is expected to take his usual seat on the bench for the Cadetti champions’ visit to Napoli on Saturday.

Assuming we will reach CL or Uefa cup next season, I don't see DP playing every match anymore and then I am convinced Palla will get his chance, I hope he has the patience to sit out this season, from next season, I expect to see him in action much more.

Next year we'll probably get Giovinco back and sign another striker,if he doesn't mature this season and become a reliable striker (which I doubt) he wont stay with us for long, either he leaves or we sell him
