Special match for Palladino in San Paolo. He was born in Napoli, no? I hope he gets some playing time!
Yeah he was born in Napoli as well as Nocerino and Criscito. It will be an important game for them all. Esp. Nocerino because when he scored his first goal with Piacenza against Napoli in Serie B of course he didn't even celebrate.

Palladino Looking For Napoli Redemption

Palladino returns home and looks for an inspirational performance against the team that discarded him when he was 14 years old.

Saturday’s match against Napoli will be a special one for Raffaele Palladino, who returns home to face the team who didn’t think he was good enough, and sent him away when he was a young teenager.

“The failure affected me a great deal in the beginning but things got better and I arrived at Juventus who showed faith in my abilities,” he said.

Palladino grew up in Naples but his loyalty lies with the Bianconeri and with Nedved’s suspension, he will have the opportunity to show off the technical skills that has many pundits raving about.

“I have never played in Stadio San Paulo so hopefully I will receive a warm reception," he said.

"I am from Naples but I belong to Juventus.

"I have been training hard and ready for this glorious occasion.

"I know what is expected of me, and hope to earn Claudio Ranieri’s trust with a good performance."

I hope he starts against Napoli. I wouldn't start Iaquinta after a long period off the pitch, I'd sub Vinnie in later if needed but Palladino should start.

Loyalty test for Juventus trio

Juventus's sold-out game at SSC Napoli on Saturday will be a big occasion for Naples-born prospects Raffaele Palladino, Antonio Nocerino and Domenico Criscito.

Good starts
Both teams have made a very good start to the new season after winning promotion from Serie B last term. Claudio Ranieri's Juventus are second, just three points behind leaders FC Internazionale Milano, while Napoli are six points behind the Bianconeri following a spectacular 4-4 draw at fourth-placed AS Roma. However, when the sides meet at the San Paolo Stadium, Juve's Neopolitan players will be feeling the strain.

Divided loyalties
The 22-year-old midfielder Nocerino has made a big impact in Turin this season, also earning a call-up from Italy coach Roberto Donadoni, but his loyalties will be tested on Saturday. "If I score, I will not celebrate because I'm a Napoli fan and I respect their shirt and these people," he said. "I scored against Napoli when I was at Piacenza [FC] and did not celebrate. I really could not do it."

Failed trial
None of the three ever played for Napoli but Palladino came close to signing for his hometown club at the age of 14. "I had a trial but they did not sign me," said the 23-year-old forward who could replace the suspended Pavel Nedvĕd on Saturday. "It hurt but now I'm happy because I had the chance to join Juventus instead and all my family have always been Juventus fans. I have never played at the San Paolo Stadium and I hope the fans will give me a good welcome."

Defensive prospect
Centre-back Criscito, 20, started the season as a first choice but then lost his place to Giorgio Chiellini and Nicola Legrottaglie. However another 'Napoletano', former Napoli and Juventus defender Ciro Ferrara, feels things will improve. "Chiellini and Legrottaglie are playing well in the centre so Criscito just needs to be patient," he said. "He is very good and his moment will come soon." A win by two goals in Naples would send Juventus to the top of Serie A for at least for one day as Inter visit US Città di Palermo on Sunday.

All we know so far is that he's better than C. Ronaldo.
I thought Volpato was the one better than C. Ronaldo. Or was it Paro ? Or was Paro better than Fabregas ?
Palladino is better than all of them combined. Only Tobias will be better than Palla.
