I get that they dont have to worry about CL football but damn Newcastle are really punching well above their weight. Howe is definitely surprising.

City, Spurs, Chelsea and Pool all look super fatigued in recent weeks with only City having enough depth to work around it. Arsenal, Newcastle, United they just seem more fit and Newcastle being the 2nd best of the non-CL bunch and 3rd overall is pretty impressive. With a good january market they can really go for top 4 and establish themselves there years earlier than anticipated.

They sacked a CL winning coach in Tuchel for this Potter dude whose CV included Ostersunds and Brighton. All for the promises of his supposed “sexy football”. This guy won’t last the season.

Terrible transfer market too. How on earth did they think Sterling will solve their finishing problems? Let go of Lukaku and Werner too as if they were so confident Sterling will become Lewandowski
