Both real underdog stories. Luton were out of league football 9 years ago. Coventry's problems off the field are well documented and they were in League 2 a few years ago. Mark Robins deserves a statue as they have one of the lowest expenditures in the league.

Expect the final will be interesting and two clashes of styles with Luton being more direct and physical. Also expect whoever goes up will most likely come straight back down, but the money either team will get will change that club.

Better than the usual boring yo-yo clubs going back up and down with their millions every season.

there's more, and i don't even care whether the info is legit or just some opportunistic jokes based on the images, it's fucking hilarious:

pure comedy
James Corden who is very good friends with Jamie Redknapp who is Frank Lampard's cousin? Lmao.

On face value Boehly seems like your stereotypical, tv series, dumb American owner who doesn't really understand the game at all, or have the wisdom to surround himself with or take advice from people who do. But I suppose if he keeps buying enough expensive and good enough players or coaches, by probability or law of averages something will come together at some point.

What oil money did at City was the right thing - got knowledgeable DOF in, got a top coach in, when coach asks for player he either gets first or second choice and team plays exactly how he wants.

in hungarian we have a saying that goes "olyan nincs, hogy valami nem sörnyitó", so ~"there isn't a thing that is not a bottle opener"

love it
For a beer bottle or for a wine bottle? You can open a beer bottle with a banana for example but wine bottle is a different story.

beer (sör = beer, sörnyitó = beer opener)

but during the university years we used to open wine too with literally everything as long as it was thin enough to fit in the bottle. wooden spoon, screwdriver, car key, fence (we bent a metal rod in the neighbor's fence lol), handmixer's mixer thingy, knives, whatever that could push the cork back into the bottle worked just fine
