Bernardo Silva is the closest thing I've seen to Messi in terms of dribbling.

Kinda surprised that teams aren't falling over one another to sign him considering he's seemed open to leaving the past two summers.

Probably one of the top 10 players in the world atm.

I know, he's so underrated. I've seen some links to Barcelona, but that is all about it.

I’m a bit of a Di Maria move, Forest have just signed Lingard on a free transfer which is a huge upgrade over the departed Zinkernagel. It’s a really key signing in the fact he has top level pedigree, plays in a key position for Cooper’s system which should take a lot of the burden off Brennan Johnson too.

The draw backs are his huge wages (1 year contract at least) and his general Tik-Tok douche personality, which hopefully has taken a back seat since he did bits at West Ham.

Proud that we beat some established Premier League clubs to get him!

He was great at West Ham. Dont really blame him for bottling it at ManU, even Di Maria did

Lingard didn't go to Man U, he was raised there lol, his whole career besides loan to West Ham. He is one of the big examples of whats wrong with Man U post fergie players wise. Filled with entitled and unserious clowns.

He actually went on several loans, not just West Ham, but that one stands out since he wasn’t a breakthrough player anymore but someone you’d expect to be one of the more senior players in the team. Hope he doesn’t clownify our squad too much.

Who was the last player to have played at their potential for Man United? Can’t think of anyone after Wayne Rooney, but even he declined a lot after Fergie left. The only other one is De Gea, but it’s a huge problem if your goalkeeper is your only good performer.

For top level club he is limited and a hindrance, was basically their Bernardeschi.

But for a mid level club like West Ham or newly promoted one like Notts he should be a stand out player in the right role. So you don't have much to worry about.

And Man U had no hierarchy with discipline, so their young players could easily get player power and run amock as flashy mercenaries who only in it for paycheck. No accountability.

He gets outside that environment he has to prove himself or goes nowhere, especially with just one year contract. So think he will do well with you guys.

Until a year ago would have said Rashford. Their best academy player since the 90s generation. But he took a nose dive as a player a season or so ago.
