Newcastle really going to regret all this chances.. City is being tactically outplayed so far but their individual quality making the difference as always.

Saint-Maximin toying with them. He really matured a lot in the past few years.

1:1 now, deserved

2:1 for Newcastle now , fully deserved, City are set up like amateurs at the back, every Newcastle atack turns into a 1v1 with their keeper or last defender

Their quality up front will probably save them tho

Referee is a joke, clearly favoring City…. Absolutely 10000000000% clear PK for Newcastle that they even checked on VAR and somehow still waved play on lol

I’m starting to understand now where all this ‘domination’ is coming from lmao, what a joke

NewCastle money >>>€>>>> City money
Couldn’t care less about either of them, but it is funny that whenever i ocasionally watch City they are always vulnerable and all over the place and just have some individual moments, fast combinations or sparks that come against the run of play to bail them out and make up for a ‘beautiful’ goal, which is what makes the headlines, or otherwise they only score from set pieces more often than not, however at the same time if you watch the actual matches they are in fact many times totally outplayed tactically, but the narrative at the end of the day is that City is unstoppable and Guardiola is the greatest mastermind genius if they won that game…

Oh, and apparently whenever things don’t go their way there is always the referee too there to save the day, but the public narrative remains the same.

It’s ironic how different the contrast is when the same thing happens with other teams or managers.

3:1 for Newcastle now

City always have trouble when teams come at them.
Basically whenever they don’t play with mediocre minnows or against players that are not fast or that can not dribble at all..

At least the way they were set up today(and not only) basically if one opposition player makes a successful dribble anywhere around the halfway line or further up and they are totally exposed at the back…
