I agree €42 million was a fair price for him but realistically we could have got a good bit more for him

However he was a good servant to the club and contributed a lot so i'm sure the club appreciated the effort he put in and rewarded him with his move

Also Van Dijk price is £75 million even higher than expected and £70 million to be paid up front
