All the "winners" are tied down by contracts. Spalletti is not a winner more than CR. His team just lost again despite spending so much. How many of the others mentioned are winners anyway? Give Ranieri time. A young team needs time, especially in a time when our champions are not performing. I also need to add how many of them are willing to play as many youngsters as him.
Ranieri has had more than enough time. Our team is not that young btw. The reason we play so many youngsters is because we have no choice. For LB, we have two choices Molinaro or De Ceglie who are both youngsters. We should have purchased someone for that position. We have no youngsters to put in the attack other than Elkdal and Seba. Elkdal is not proven at any level other than the Swedish league along with our preseason matches. Seba is only now getting his chance since others are not performing well or coming off injury. Marchisio is our last youngster who is only being used since all our other players are injured or not performing. We have the same amount of youngsters as any team in Serie A or even less.

It is not like we are developing any of our youngsters anyway. If we decide they fail this season, we are either going to loan them out for "development" or sell them anyway. They get one year to prove themselves so no Ranieri doesn't need more time to develop our "young" team. He is no Wenger.

I'm not for the immediate sacking of Ranieri but he is only one of our major problems.

Well we wont be getting a new coach now because our shitty board has "confidence" in Raneri to do the job. They are unbelievable! I hate our board so much!

as much as i hate Ranieri and want him out as soon as possible, i just don't see hoow his replacment would be any better right now. the Problem that we are having now is that we don't have a decent MF this season and fullbacks that r not good enough. the coach must chabge the formation in order to get somewhere, benching some old guards would be good every now and then. the problem that always happened with Ranieri during his career that he is not a real winner

Mancini would be perfect
He won coppa Italy even with Fio and Lazio

and his preferred formation is 4-4-2 and it means that our players don't need much time to adapt again with new system
Let's take him

Actually we have a choice. We could have bought a proven LB in the first place but firstly are there any on the market? Only Grosso was possible but he is already 30 and would be a stop-gap measure at most. In order for Moli/DC to play more often to improve it is not economical to buy an established player. The reluctance to buy established players is easily summed up by Gigli's statement that we are going to have a core of young players developed by us. In some way, we have become another Arsenal, but with a greater emphasis on team stability through keeping the old guards.

Is loaning youngsters out that bad? From the responses I have saw since last year, most of the fans expected instant success. 2 mistakes from Criscito against Roma and it is time to ship him on loan to gain experience. Nocerino was given many chances but failed to convince last season so he is gone too. Palladino did not perform in the few matches he played as as striker so he was sent on loan . Otherwise they will rot in the stands and this is not good for their career.

We need to rebuild, but has limited funds. We wasted 30m last year which we could have used to buy a WC defender(and which will have solved many problems) but it is a lesson learnt. However, the transfer fiasco has also affected this year's preparation and this is what many fans fail to see. I don't see much wrong with this year's transfers. We do not want our strongest department to fail so we bought someone who is relatively skilful and clinical so that he can replace any one of our first team's strikers if necessary. Considering Giggs' sudden drop in form last season, we have to prepare in case ADP suffers the same problem. Poulsen was bought to provide the defensive capability which we need(again due to last year's fiasco). The rest are brought in as reserves/future players. Giovinco is the man to provide the creativity Diego/VDV can bring.

Ranieri may not have a history of winning but he is well-known as a team builder and I believe that is why he is employed. Lippi and Mourinho have a championship challenging team to begin with so all they need is to instil a belief in winning, but developing talents is not their forte. We clearly lack the depth last year to do so and even then, we will have managed to challenge for the title if not for some dubious refereeing. This season started with serious injuries to our most important players which affected the team. Give the team time to improve, especially the young players since they were not with the team last season. Do not expect instant results. Alex Ferguson took a few years to rebuild his team to challenge the rise of Chelsea and CR7 took even more to become a good player. In the meantime, Ferguson was sometimes said to be "past his prime". It is more important now to build a good foundation which can then be built upon by "winning" coaches in the future. I am not sure if Ranieri will ever be a winner but I can see the progress in the team.

I only have a fluffy toy dog.
