Anoter thing annoying with Ranieri is his obsession with Mourinho. The other day he just commented on Jose right out of the blues. I mean what's the point in that? Isn't it better to concentrate on your own team?
When Wenger became obsessed with Mourinho Arsenal had their worst season if I remember correctly.

Eriksson would be pretty good IMO
I would take him in a heartbeat. I also think there would be a good chance of him coming here because Juventus would be a return to top level club management in Italy, a country he loves. He is probably just coaching mexico cuz he did not get any good offers after City stupidly gave him the axe.

The thing I like about Sven is his teams are 1 very hard to beat and seem to get results easily. He is also good at managing players and is familiar with Serie A.

Exactly. Ranieri is also in no position to criticize either, whereas Wenger actually had titles under his name.

SAY NO TO MERDA REJECT
Mancini is available and has won things. Those are two of the most important factors in signing a coach.

the problem with ex players is that they are known simply for being great players but are not yet proven as great coaches.

Rijkaard is proven for winning titles with Barca and had them playing some of the most attractive football I have ever seen. But Ferrara, Conte and Vialli are unproven in terms of the success they will have as a manager. Sven or someone has alot to judge him on and we know what we will get.

That being said I would welcome any of the ex players who are coaches I mentioned with open arms. Vialli has experience coaching clubs more so than the other 2.

rijkaard is a good option, but i doubt we will get him
he is an expensive coach, he asks for big wages which our board can't afford and i doubt our board would change the wage structure to afford him in during the season play,
and then he asks for big transfer funds which again our board cant afford,
so i dont see a reason we'll get him...
a gamble with conte/ferrara sounds like a must-do experiment this season as IMO anyone will do better rather than we keep ranieri at the helm, then on the end of the season we find one WC coach...

Never like the guy. Lazio were packed with WC players (just like chelsea today) and still they played some ugly shit football. No off ball movement nothing too impressing. He had probably the best team in europe with lazio but still did not do much with it. In a way he's teams play similar football to ranieri's teams "4-4-2 formation mostly focussing alot on defence with no attacking idea's (i remember lazio used to look absalutely clueless when they attacked just like this juve). So i really don't think he's the man for this job.....

Prandelli - Pellegrini - Spaletti
they all sound great to me but neither of them is available right now
we will have to stick with Ranieri at least till Christmas and hope Santa brings us great news

I hate to rain of some people's parade here but some fo the choices I am seeing and reasons they're giving are very strange.

Prandelli? Okay please explain what he has won as a manager to me? Or are we now aspiring to 4th place as some sort of achievement?

From afar it looks like he is doing a great job but when it is close to home, then it is a bit different. Juve and Fiorentina have different priorities let us not forget that.

Luciano Spaletti, well he too is like Prandelli with a few coppas italia in his cabinet but I have never rated him as a tactician as without Totti he seems to struggle very badly

Vialli? Anyone that recommends that Ramo Vega be paid 40,000 a week and then brings Galli to Watford 20 years after his sell by date should be a worry.

His achivements at Chelsea were laid by Gullit as his buys including Stanic, Bogarde, Melchiot, etc were not the best in Chelsea's history

Gentile has an even worse CV than Klinsmann and I did warn that Klinsmann was far too inexperienced to take over a job at Bayern Munich following his relative success at the national team. Look at the problems that Klinsmann is facing even with a very good squad.

Claudio Gentile is totally untested at this level and imo should not even be considered as I cannot see him being a better option than Ranieri. Ditto for Ferrara

Seriously where did that come from? Ferrara is an assitant coach for 5 minutes and we are talking about SerieA here.

The teams may not be great but some of the managers are very tactically astute that they would have the likes of Ferrara and Gentile for lunch with the calibre of players he would have to work with.

Let us just be grateful that Raymond Domenech is not jobless as that would be the person this board would have gone for that is for sure.

I would not have minded Frank Rijkard but I think he is more suited to Milan than us while Juande Ramos would have been my 1st choice a year or 2 ago but I have lost a lot of respect fro him not because of what has happened at Spurs but for his lack of integrity to leave Sevilla for Spurs just for money.

The guy Pellergrini at Villareal is doing a fantastic job with the lalck of stars he has and there are a number of good up and coming Spanish and Italian tacticians as well not necessarily ex great players.

For me we need a great scouting system as the 1 we have now is just appalling as I cannot understand why the likes of Napoli and Genoa can unearth gems and we cannot.

Here is hoping that Raymond domenech keeps his job at France as he is the kind of yes-man that this board is looking for

I don't have to slice Mancini apart as he did that himself. In all honesty he is better than the others but his record in champions league where a squad as big as Inter's kept on going out early was embarassing.

I don't have to talk about Donadoni do I?
