Positives of the relegation (1 Viewer)

As much as we would have prefered A, if we had stayed in serie A the reduction of our penalty would not have been so large. We would have seriously risked relegation to serie B & that would have added a year or two to the time needed by Juve to recover from this. This way, we got a better reduction in our penalty & when we get promotion, we will have no penalty points.
Everybody's pretty much summed it up well.
As for Serie A fans having a different view of us when we (hopefully) get promoted, this is a pure myth that people will see us as "Cleansed"...we'll still be the butt-end of "B" jokes, clever opposition fan shenanigans that we made the drop (I'm just envisioning the pre match choreography Inter vs. Juve at the San Siro)...we'll always be associated with ladri etc.
Personally, I could care less what they say or do.
It still gets on my nerves remembering that we're in Serie B. Yesterday I was browsing thru team kits on Subside Sports website...I clicked on Serie A teams, and then looked for Juve. Followed it alphabetically, and I spent 2 minutes thinking WTF why don't they have Juve's kits, I want to see them!
And then I remembered the obvious...
Another instance which Stripper had mentioned to me once....I was playing the new Pro Evolution Soccer, and Juventus weren't with the Serie A clubs...you have to select them in another menu
Just small insignificant things like that really get to me!

Big positive of demotion is that it got rid of Capello because if he had stayed its pretty unlikely Del Piero would have.
Champions League is rubbish now cos i'm just watching games as an interested neutral rather than being able to really get into it.(Unless Celtic are playing when I support the opposition)

yeah thts true, the worest bit about seria B is the no champions league part of the punishment. when i feel this low about this bit i remeber ac milan, they have to either win this cl ( which is impossible not with how they r preforming) or come up third or second to get a chance for cl next year ( which is a bit hard but possible). so in the end we r not the only ones.
loads of people keep telling me its different when juventus is in the cl and i honestly agree its different.
being a Juve fan just as most of you and having had very mixed feelings about the relegation from a total despair caused by top players departure, taken away trophies and not seeing Juve play in CL to realising how actually Juve is important to me and how proud i am to a juventino (had a "fight" the other day on a London bus with two serie A "experts", silly, i know), i want to thank you all for sharing your true feelings, either sad or happy, on this forum. have been reading you guys for a while now and glad to be a part of the site finally.
i do not have my rose glasses on and understand it will be a very difficult way up but i firmly believe in Juve's ability to emerge as a true leader of italian championship where it belongs. so, forza Juventus! we are with you.
