Exactly what you said. I said the formations don’t suit him. I said we keep playing the formations and he plays like crap. I even said it maybe partially the formations fault and we need to figure out which way to go. I said he is too often hot and cold and we have to decide how or if to keep him. I may have said it a little more outlandish but that’s the gist
He is our most consistent attacker. We aren’t going to get a better forward than him.

He has 6 more goals than Higuain not that much greater in serie A

In coppa Italia and CL he has scored 2 in both combined while Higuain has scored 7 sooooo

In other words in all competitions 3 more than Higuain but Higuain has scored in the bigger competitions

 This is becoming tedious. How about our midfield? Is Dybala supposed to track back, pick up the ball, and slalom through 4-5 defenders before curling one in?! This is real life, not Captain Tsubasa FFS! Dybala would be playing better if Allegri was utilizing him properly; it's a miracle he's scored as many goals as he has being played out of position and asked to do things he's unaccustomed to.

How about Mr. Invisible 80% of the season Khedira? What about I can't hold onto the ball for more than 3 seconds Matuidi? What about Mr. Nonchalant aka Inconsistency Extraordinaire Pjanic? In that case, we should sell the whole team. At least these guys are playing in their natural positions, and they're still inconsistent as fuck!

I don't buy into his not being able to function in this team
All he has to do is play behind Higgy

He however needs to be stronger, he is playing well off the pace in the latter stages of this season
Gets pushed around too easily, looks like he is playing with boots that are 10 sizes too big
I love Dybala but he needs to lift
I'm worried rumours of moving my actually be true

I don’t think you get the point bro.

No one is saying Dybala is shit. He’s not. He may even be an elite talent.

However with the squad we have and manager we will not be able to utilize him to his best level and with the way the team is set up other players will fit it better.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with saying that?

if we are changing coaches then I would definitely keep him and Sandro and everyone else and add Can and a rb to the fold.

It'd suck if we let him go and then get Inzaghi or someone like that.

If Allegri is staying then we might as well sell him off for big bucks and fix the midfield

It's simple. Being practical, keep Dybala if we build a team for and play 4231 next season. Sell if it's 433.

Question is which are we better off with?

It'll depend on who's available in the market and whom we can sign.

keep if we are gonna become an offensive team with an attacking game plan. Sell if we will strengthen defensive minded players.

i.e. we will sell.

It's not like it's over now but we made it MUCH harder to win it this year.
It's not over! It's already dusted and cleared and Napoli is already the winners. They might as well win the coming two or three seasons with some competition from Roma and Inter

That heat map says, or rather shows it all really. He's unable to be in the box because he's tasked with performing other duties. Allegri either has to find a way to make shit work, without sacrificing everything for Higuain, or both he and Higuain can board the next vessel to Guandong for all I care.

Of course this time he was playing even deeper because we were pressured in our own half but generally it's just sad to see him play as a midfielder. It's such a waste.

I'd say we probably already have Dybala's replacement in Bernardeschi if you ask me...(it woudn't surprise me tbh)
That's absolute BS and a serious downgrade. Berna is a good player, but if that's what you call a replacement, then we're truly fucked.

You never see fans of other top team advocate building their summer Mercato around selling their best player. We are disgustingly unique in that regard.
Well, we have many "special" members here on Tuz. May the almighty bless their sensitive hearts :touched:

People say he is not a big game player, but in most big games he is forced to play 10 meters from our own penalty area. He is not a player who is strong on the break.

If we are going to keep Allegri next year we might as well cash in and buy players who will fit his style of play.
