This is becoming tedious. How about our midfield? Is Dybala supposed to track back, pick up the ball, and slalom through 4-5 defenders before curling one in?! This is real life, not Captain Tsubasa FFS! Dybala would be playing better if Allegri was utilizing him properly; it's a miracle he's scored as many goals as he has being played out of position and asked to do things he's unaccustomed to. How about Mr. Invisible 80% of the season Khedira? What about I can't hold onto the ball for more than 3 seconds Matuidi? What about Mr. Nonchalant aka Inconsistency Extraordinaire Pjanic? In that case, we should sell the whole team. At least these guys are playing in their natural positions, and they're still inconsistent as fuck!

No one is saying Dybala is shit. He’s not. He may even be an elite talent.
However with the squad we have and manager we will not be able to utilize him to his best level and with the way the team is set up other players will fit it better.

That heat map says, or rather shows it all really. He's unable to be in the box because he's tasked with performing other duties. Allegri either has to find a way to make shit work, without sacrificing everything for Higuain, or both he and Higuain can board the next vessel to Guandong for all I care.
