All those who hates Dybala r just dumb people who don't understand a bit of how football works.... Maybe never even play in any level....

Yesterday Dybala and Costa were the only players that actually did something. Max strategy to jump pressure line was just stupid and our players were horrible

Allegri is a bit rigid and old school with what he wants from Higuain. I think it hurts Dybala. I understand that you want one of the best poachers in the box at all times, but you could argue that Dybala is also one of the best poachers and he's being forced away from the box too much.

Higuain is central for the whole match, holding 2 CBs back very much like a traditional target man. But it doesn't create any space behind the defence. It tends to create a sliver of space underneath him but any good CMs close that space where Dybala would operate anyways.

I would much prefer if Higuain/Dybala had more movement and took turns being in midfield and the last man. Create some indecision on behalf of the CBs. Higuain can pass better than Dybala. He has put Dybala in on goal in a situation like this already in the pre-season. When he drops off the CBs they tend to follow, and you can create space for Dybala to get in behind.

Makes sense, although I would still ask Higuain not to roam too far from the box. But movement in general is good, especially if we can train on some particular movements so the team knows how to move the ball around for particular movements.

I wouldn't mind even putting him as a RW but let him roam freely. Like Messi, RW as a starting point but then move freely, then hopefully not always have to get the ball with his back to the goal and instead get some speed and attack with more space. Quite often he serves as the link between middle of the pitch and final parts of it and he often has to get back to get it. We have improved in setting him up in later stages of the pitch (he has also a better understanding now how of to move about). Ever since Pogba left, who used to do this job, we've relied on Dybala to make this team gel.

Long-term I ideally see Dybala as a striker or RW. But I am not certain who else to play as AMC for now, it would also influence playing time for our other attacking midfielders and perhaps even Mandzukic.

Only because their midfield is non-existant and Neymar got sold, but nonetheless Barca has better odds to win the final if they do make it unlike us.
No, its because we beat them and are consistently doing as well if not better past couple seasons.

Read the article, Dybala says he is constantly bombarded by friends, family or fans back home if he is going to Barcelona. If you not negative or being a clown for a second, him saying we are in same level, and meaning it, is to signify to such people Juve are a big club too and he isnt in a hurry to leave just because he is expected to the big "name" of Barca. This kid wants to make his mark and win the biggiest trophy, and in that NY article few posts up, he showcases the significant drive he has to win, its refreshing to read really.

Should have found that drive 5 months ago

Making in far in the competition and going into finals don't mean shit if you don't come back home with the goods. I'm glad he wants to achieve what seems impossible to achieve at Juventus. I want it now, I don't want it in 5 years after Gigi retires, or even the year right after Gigi retires, I want it now for Gigi.

You do realize you sound like a spoiled no-nothing brat? Ofcourse he had that drive months ago, all year, he litterally CANNOT GET OVER THE LOSS AND FINDS IT A NIGHTMARE. Us as a fan is irrelevant compared to the actual player who worked his ass off for whole year to go that point, they as a team were essentially flawless all season to that point except for the last 45 minutes where they got decimated by a superior team. It happens. It sucks, but you have to deal with it and try again, there is no other option.

And Gigi in all honour, but I want us to win it for the whole team, every single employee in club who sweats for that exact goal, and every fan who waited for this for over 21 years.

Yeah....that's not how I see it. This is one of our most iconic player, our captain and a national hero, if anything time and time again it was the team and the club that has failed him. Had he been anywhere else in the world he would have had a full european trophy cabinet.

You are so right. Dybala is by far our best player, vision, technique and fantasia. He is a great passer of the ball and dribbler and works for the team. He is a football beauty for the eyes,. That is why team like Barca and Madrid want him, because in Spain beautiful football is important and the majority over the world want to see a nice game besides winning. I was in Miami for the game Juve-Psg and 90% of Juve supporters were wearing his shirt. How many Juve players are interviewed by the NYT?The reason for all the negativity in the forum is because many have a very negative attitude and to many kids here with little understanding and never played football on the higher level.
