You are so right. Dybala is by far our best player, vision, technique and fantasia. He is a great passer of the ball and dribbler and works for the team. He is a football beauty for the eyes,. That is why team like Barca and Madrid want him, because in Spain beautiful football is important and the majority over the world want to see a nice game besides winning. I was in Miami for the game Juve-Psg and 90% of Juve supporters were wearing his shirt. How many Juve players are interviewed by the NYT?The reason for all the negativity in the forum is because many have a very negative attitude and to many kids here with little understanding and never played football on the higher level.
aren't you a bit negative yourself? :D I disagree that Dybala is a great passer of the ball, he is good at quick exchanges, but in my eyes he's more of a finisher than a brilliant assist man. but I agree that last season he was definitely the center piece of our puzzle, hopefully Bernardeschi will provide us more options in future

Look at the games 75% of the trough passes to Higuain come from him. He is not a Pirlo. He is a short passer like in 1-2.
What you should say is that I am very positive about Dybala. Maybe negative about many people in this forum.
Bernardeschi is a very good player, I like him but he is no Dybala but they would be very good together. I want more technical player in the team. I am happy to have Douglas Costa here too.
I am not unhappy Bonucci is gone. I want to see more short passing than all this long balls like the Spanish team and like Tottenham the way they played against us if you saw that game.

not really, out of the goals Higuain scored last season these are the assisters:

Dybala 4
Pjanič 4
Sturaro 2
Sandro 2
Cuadrado 2
Mandžukič 2
Licht 2
Alves 2
Marchisio 1
Khedira 1
Rincon 1
Chiellini 1

Rest of them were without an assist, at least according to transfermarkt, lets exclude those. I find if hard to believe Dybala creates 75% of Higuains chances yet he assists only ~17% of his goals, doesnt look right

Not only goals, but Dybala created lots of chances for Higauin.

Tho they dont have a natural working relationship on the pitch still IMO, I blame it on Allegri, he uses Higauin in a way thats too rigid. If he allowed Higauin to drop off and exchange places with Dybala at times, he could find way more space to do damage instead of being stuck in/near box waiting for final balls. He is quite complete and can actually create for others too, and it would help Dybala more if he could suprise defenders by running into the box more (where he is most deadly), with Higauin dragging away CBs back or creating for Dybala with through passes that he can do very well.

Needs more fluidity instead having put stuck on their positions too much. Higauin mainly waits for crosses when he can do much more, and Dybala needs the option to run behind defenders into the box to just suprise them more, instead of be solely on the grey area between midfield and defence where he is physically challenged too much (and pretty much isnt allowed to move past almost) and dont have much else room to maneuver in. It all starts and ends with the limited way Allegri instructs Higauin to operate IMO.

I know what a through pass is. Then again, are all those Dybala through passes to Higuain that important if he scores mostly from other sources? Besides, I'd argue Pjanič is much better at feeding Higuain with the right pass

How can you argue that? They both have 4 assists to him (2 of Pjanic assist were in same game), and if you actually watch them, you see Dybala creating chances for Higauin much more with these direct through balls. Which is natural because he is closer to Higauin and he is very good passer.

And since Pjanic became a holding CM he has stopped doing these direct through balls as used to when he had freedom to more around.

Come on Pitbull, Pjanic is a bit of a disappointment to me. I expected much better from him maybe he should not play where he plays now
but his passing in general is lacking a bit . He had a good amount of bad passes in all most every game.
He is the overrated one in this forum cause of people who post a 100 times every day and are popular here. I won't mention names , I am sure you know who.

So Dybala is a lot closer to goal, a lot more involved in the attacking phase and tries to create a lot more chances, but Pjanič has 15 assists last season while Dybala 9. Really, I have no idea how could I argue that one is better than the other at feeding his teammates with a killer pass.

To Higauin was the subject, they both have 4 each.

And atleast 7-8 of those Pjanic assists are from corners/set pieces. Impressive in itself, but defenitely a specialist in that, more then having a more controlling direct chance making style for us so far. If you actually rely on your eyes over stats, you will notice Pjanic stopped assisting basically since he got his new role in the formation, not moving up as much (and his effiency in set pieces took a dive 2nd half).

Its funny that he "stopped" assisting much when his performance improved alot as CM in 4-2-3-1 (and team improved due to his more consistent controll of how we play, especially in CL), but when he was moments impact player in first half of last season, where he could score or assist (mainly set pieces) from nowhere, but was a mess otherwise. Basically a ghost or extremely average rest of the game, and it made the team worse for it.

We shouldn't argue who is our best player, the whole world know who it is. DP want Dybala to have the # 10 for more than a year but he refused, now they convinced him to have it. They want to build the team around him. Big teams want him. In Miami him and Buffon were the most applauded players.
Only in this forum we have all this negativity.

I love Dybala and he clearly is a unique player for us, I just disagree that he's great at passing

Come Pitbull you sound like a great guy Dutch or Belgian. Pay attention tomorrow at his passing and his vision. If Allegri put him in that position and ask him to come to MF there must be a reason. He is the starter of our attacks.
