Really? So the reason for putting the most effectively creative attacker in a team that lacks creativity completely, being deemed 4th choice, isnt important?
i meant his interview is not about giving out a reason. he probably got asked about this by some journalist and said what he had to say.

Ofcourse he decides who plays, like people dont know who is the coach? Thats whats being questionned, the results are lacking and his decision making is lacking, especially more so when it isnt explained or given reasons for it? And Dybala has played enough indeed, but because of injury crisis to Morata and Mandzu past 2 months. Now everyone is healthy and he is not only benched (all big games except Sevilla game), but he is the last get subbed in, gets 10 minutes. Why, ask yourself, why? Also, since when is he a fragile doll, if anything he isnt protecting him from pressure, he is putting more pressure on him by handling this schizophrenically. We lack results and creatively (more so in 3-5-2) and he gets to play very sporadically, doesnt get to click with the team enough and is expected to perform in brief appearances?

Also most important of all. We DONT have time for kiddie gloves type of slow integration due to our complete failure of a season. More so when who is benching him are DEFENITELY worse and add less to the team. More so because he is a creative forward who build plays, comes deep, and involves others into the action. Thats what we need (again, especially more so in a limited 3-5-2 approach), we seen already in games we do better with him on the pitch. And not when we misusing Morata as SS who dissapears when he so far from the box, and the two other limited oafs who either just wait for service that never comes to the box or handle the ball like a grenade and ruin most plays.
yeah, so you say Dybala has been playing only because of injuries but with our full squad we have played only 2 games so far, Inter and Gladbach, both tricky games. you cant make an argument about Allegri distrusting him based on 2 games really. if he played Dybala and lost both games im sure he would be even more criticized. he is the one making the tactics before the game and fielding players he thinks would execute them best. vs Inter and Gladbach, those were Zaza and Mandzu, tomorrow it seems it might be Dybala according to the predicted lineups. so if you want to know if Dybala is really 4th in the pecking order among strikers we need more games with everyone fit to really make a conclusion, but not jumping on conclusions after 2 games (again, since you said we didint have a fully fit team at the beginning and Dybala played mainly because of that, its fair to not count these games then). also, this is exactly the reason why we bought 4 quite different types of forwards. its for Allegri to have tactical flexibility and find the best pairing depending on the opponent we face. it wont be the same pairing each game because injuries, form and tactical ideas greatly influence the game time

one more thing. this is the same talk, even worse in fact, we had last season with Morata. Llorente was horrible, and Morata hasnt got any serious gametime up until november even. we even had Coman and Gio start games when Llorente was rested. people were attacking Allegri on a daily basis but today Morata is our best forward. Allegri was introducing him slowly to the 1st team but he succeeded in the end. maybe hes doing it a bit differently now with Dybala but based on his previous success with Morata (and El Shaarawy/De Sciglio), i have full trust in him when it comes to handling Dybala

Ok, he is responsible to not give reasons? Fine.

THEN DONT CRY about getting criticism for said decision you dont want to give any reasons for :)

I'm glad you agree with him, even tho you dont know what you are agreeing with?
he doesent cry about anything, where do you get that from

i know fully well what im agreeing with. its his was of handling a young player that is new to the team after a strong season and after he came here with a ton of expectations. i agree with his way of doing it, i agree with him not wanting to give out much to the media (he already said too much here imo) and i agree with him slowly introducing him to be a regular starter and not exposing him as the one we should expect to carry our attack from the very beginning. expect the same with Berardi next year and expect the same people jumping on him and creating theories about Allegri not wanting Berardi in the team or having fights with him etc.

 Zizinho got owned lol @Lion
why dont you go cry in Dybalas thread because he never plays. oh wait, hes the striker with most minutes in our team this season. you should stop being the crybaby you have been lately.

- - - Updated - - -

I dont know, but Zizinho and DP84 are experts in this
oh wait, werent you (and CK too btw) the one defending Allegri playing Llorente up until the Dortmund games even last season, and even saying he is the better player than Morata when 90% of the forum asked form him to play every day? oh yes but now youre switching sides because you dont want to burn yourself again

I don't know. The thing is, I WANT to trust him on this. He's brought us so far last season and obviously knows more about the situation than me, but it doesn't seem right to have him benched like this. Perhaps I'm just too impatient, but we clearly need some creativity up front.

yeah, its still too early to make conclusion but fact is, Dybala has had enough game time until now. lets see how it goes from now on
It's not enough game time when the other forwards have been appalling. Mandzu is terrible at the moment, and Zaza has never been good enough for Juve, that's why people want to see Dybala.

Really? It's not a 'fact' that he's had enough game time, especially when we haven't scored in a couple matches and he's healthy, bud.

It's an opinion, and almost certainly wrong considering the last two scoreless games we played (hugely important games) :p

Fact is Morata couldn't have played early last year, because he was injured, unfit, and also behind a competent, established strike force.

Fact is we played our two best games with Dybs, Morata, and Cuadrado playing together, right before the international break.

Fact is it looked like the team was making solid progress in those games, like we actually had synergy up front.

Fact is we really don't have time for Max to continue experimenting with rotation every other day, when points are so crucial.

Fact is that generally when you rotate forwards like this they lose confidence, and confidence is of paramount importance to goalscorers.

Fact is both Max and Beppe are currently in damage control mode, and have made some silly comments the last couple days trying to explain our position in the table -- which is, without question, largely down to their decisions.

I actually think that we can still win the league, crazy, I know. I also think it's really premature to talk about firing Allegri right now. But he needs to take a huge chunk of responsibility for where the team is (3rd month, 14th place), and he also needs to understand this ideology of his, where the youngster needs to sit simply by virtue of the fact that he's a youngster at Juventus, appears to be hurting this team's results right now.

Paulo's not some shrinking violet, he absolutely was the reference point for Palermo, he led that team, and would have played damn near every match last season if they hadn't pulled him late while negotiations were underway. He's been playing well, I say you ride that man until he starts to clearly struggle, then you rotate. Right now, Allegri is the one creating extra pressure on Dybala by not playing somebody whose performances so far warrant his inclusion in the lineup.

It should be a meritocracy, yo. :D

Zizinho, you really have to recognize that this situation bears little resemblance to last season. We weren't 14th in the table last season. We don't have Lloirente-Tevez coming off a fantastic season. And Morata was not our top scorer 11 games into last season, like Dybala is.

Aside from this, Allegri has now forced Morata to play as an SS to accommodate Zaza and Mandzu as starting CFs in our most important matches. This completely misuses Morata's talents. He is a damn good CF. He also is quite a good LWF when allowed freedom to roam in attack, in a C Ronaldo type role.. And it showed against City and Bologna.

So Allegri's fuck-ups in tinkering are directly responsible for our stunning ineptitude in attack the last 2 weeks. No creativity, our top scorer on the bench, and our best forward relegated to a support striker role he isn't suited for in the slightest.

It's absolutely obvious that these are some incredibly stupid decisions and Zaza and Mandzu shouldn't currently be starting over Dybala.

You have missed one small detail though, for zizinho it is all the same supporting Juve. Win titles, get relegated, destroy teams, draw to Frosinone at home, sell your players buy Hernanes...all this is basically the same thing. It is alway the right thing as long as the Juventus management did it.

You saved me from making a much longer and more incoherent post :D

Thing is Zizinho knows all this, but for some reason he cannot make himself to see the downside and limitations of these clearly questionable decisionmaking, and is allways on defense mode even if there is nothing to defend. Like its somehow disloyal to disagree with some the things that have put us in this fairly horrible season so far.

Dont wanna be rude, but it reminds me of the mentality of cult members in a way.

I like Zizinho. I really do. I like his crazy optimism. But reality is, we're 14th right now, and have scored 13 goals in 11 games this season. So a little perspective is nice in this circumstance.

It doesn't make someone a lesser fan to criticize the club, management, coaches, and players of the team they support when it is deserved. It actually makes one more of a fan in my opinion, that willingness to continue supporting your club, even while seeing and criticizing massive problems and fuck-ups. We don't have to wear rose-tinted glasses with regards to Juventus. The club has had more than enough success that we can be realistic in our appraisals. This isn't a team with 3 scudetti in 100 years and no european trophies. So behaving like shit seasons are all fine and dandy is pretty fucking silly.

That's the problem, zizinho and his likes think of us as lesser fans the way we complain. For them being a fan is supporting everything going on blindly.

What cult members?
Attentionwhoring? :p Its about time we just drop the society gag for good, its not good for this forum, quite divisive clearly.

Lets just focus on our individual opinions and one topic at a time. And you, like me in this instance, clearly been vocal about how wrong Allegri is for stubbornly benching Dybala despite playing better then the other two (who isnt finding this odd really?). Questionning that is the least one can do. As Rollie said, its simply about meritocracy.

Surprised he dint hail AA for banging his employee's wife.

It might've been considered ok in his books since it involves a Juventus official
