Or maybe, he's confusing him with some good bourbon

We got mandzukic because he's a very proven goalscorer, that made sense if we expected to domminate possession in their own half.

The substitutes however, were poor.

Dybala for mandzukic
Pereyra for cuadrado (good)
Lemina for Marchisio

The first one around 65/70, the others when the starting player ran out of steam
It made zero sense. Mandzukic needs supplies, we offered none. They parked the bus, we needed creative players/good passers to break through that defense.

But hey, let's keep rotating our attacking line every match, it has worked wonderfully so far.

Not so sure, I don't recall Cuadrado getting many touches on the ball, especially on the first half. Our crosses also happened to be terrible, not that we had many anyway.

In fact I found it weird that we weren't relying on him (Cuadrado) like we've been doing lately. Allegri probably wanted to show the team is more than just "pass it to the right winger and let him come up with something" but failed.

The other part to this is that Dybala is only "the most played forward" because of injuries to Morata and Mandzukic. When all our forwards are healthy, he barely sees the pitch. Mandzukic came back after the international break and now Dybala is relegated to the a last 10 minute sub, and Morata is forced to play as a second striker in support. Ridiculous. Allegri is finding new and creative ways to ruin our 2 best attacking players. I like Mandzukic, but he clearly should be a rotation player with Morata, not the main CF, with Morata being forced to play SS to see the field.

This year is a disaster thus far. 13 goals in 11 games between Serie A and CL is an absolute joke for the amount of talent we have in attack. Allegri's tactics are absolute bullshit.

Another worrysome thing with dybala, is that allegri says that “he needs to mature in a new role“....

I dont knwo what this guy is smoking really. He is overthinking shid and creating imaginary scenarios with dybala. That, or he simply dont know what to do with him.

Maybe allegri is mad at marotta? Maybe he is clueless? I dont know.... but he needs to sort this mess and fast, staring by using dybala instead of mandzu and zaza. If not, streeeet.

What "talent" do we possess in attack? I only count Dybala and Morata as talent. The other two are liabilities.
Mandzukic, fit and in-form is a pretty damn good forward. But obviously not so much in terms of skill. I mean, he is one of only 11 players in the big 5 leagues in Europe to score 20+ goals in each of the last 3 seasons.

That (he started to decline a bit last year with Bayern) and also we sign a player who is only good in one way, and we dont play in that way whatsoever, its beyond stupid...

This is what I agree with. We don't play a style that suits him. He'd be decent playing between Cuadrado and a left-winger, but we don't have a left winger. I mean, he does have 2 goals already in the limited time he's played, but he needs more service and we just don't provide it.

I don't mind him as second choice for Morata, if he's playing with a creative player like Dybala, but the problem is that we only have one SS, and no attacking mids, and no left wingers. So now we have Morata being considered an SS or a LWF by Allegri and our rotations our Morata with Dybala and Mandzukic with Zaza... which is ridiculous.

Yup..

TBH i dont mind him being Morata´s subs , not at all....what i mind is that he costed important funds to be a benchwarmer. On top of that we bought another player who is exactly in the same line for no reason(Zaza). And mandzukic supposedly was going to be the reply to tevez´s workrate.

Above all, the combination of the lack of goals, the COST of those 2 players, and allegri´s weird behaviour,... is what is sinking us. Marotta fuked it up with his opportunities too.
