I can almost understand not starting him, but getting less minutes than Zaza? If I were Dybala and was behind a player as limited as Zaza in the pecking order I would hand a transfer request

his skill and direct running actually looked like opening Gladbach up though. Too bad he didnt have near enough time to put it to use

Against a parked bus (which Gladblach didn't do) you need creativity.

Yeah, makes no sense.Last year we had Tevez who could play for two, so playing the awful Llorente wasn't that bad.
This year we dont have a Tevez, so the reason to not play Dybala is stupid.

Forget starting Mandzukic and Zaza right now. One is not match fit and certainly should not be starting an important CL match, and the other is not starting caliber material at all.

Deploy our attackers in the 4-3-3, like he did in the two matches before the break. Cuads wide right, Dybala playing in the middle, Morata on the left... and then when play is in the final third it's very fluid, Morata drifting central, Paulo supporting but frequently drifting left. Defend as either a 4-4-2/4-5-1.
