It won't be long before Zamparini has another breakdown on how we're destroying the next Messi.

And honestly, it is sad that we spent so much on a player we barely use. Really hope Allegri figures out a way to play him more often, at whichever role he fits best.

It's completely retarded that he isn't getting more game-time. The kid has scored three goals, and has created chances in every game. He even looked good in his minutes against City. Weird decisions by Allegri

Great decision by the management to spend 40 million on one player that is hardly playing for us at all. With that money surely Allegri and Marotta should have decided on a player that could be more useful to the team.

I have no problem with Dybala i'm just pissed that we have a 40 million asset on the bench more than he plays.

:agree:

If he's not starting at least every second match by the time the 4th CL group game rolls around, I'm going to be pissed about this.

Italian coaches are so often ridiculous about this stuff. They have a player who scores regularly and they bench him for a player who doesn't because they like some random off-ball/defensive contribution the other forward offers more.

We've seen it before. Conte benching Matri for Borriello through the winter that undefeated season. Allegri benching Morata for Llorente for the first 3 months last year. And now Dybala.

The game has evolved. Forwards who create chances and score are what is needed. I mean, the defensive/off-ball work is a great bonus, but if Dybala is scoring a goal every 80 minutes, like he is right now, I could care less if he stands around doing nothing while the opponent has the ball.

Come on, Allegri was against the wall, so he used the safe approach – the one that got us 3 points against MC.
Agreed, these were two tough games and using physicality is the safer approach. We simply had to win. Dybala has a lot of talent but at the moment is a little bit of a luxury. He'll have plenty of time to get a string of games.

I dont think he will suit Allegris tactics i can see him being oushed out.
No way. If you noticed, he wore a training shirt all match, surely Allegri told him he wouldn't play today. He's just the kind of player Allegri wants, a technical striker with work rate. IMO he was rested today only to make a start next game..

Too much overreactions in here, yes he should've come on today, but he'll get his playtime over the season, I'm certain of it.

Should probably start against Frosinone on wednesday as well.

Can't wait to see Zamp's next press conference.

----

Only thing I can think of is he is being rested for midweek match. That's the only thing I will accept otherwise Allegri is to blame.

We scored twice and NOTHING came from out strikers today. How is that not a problem right now? We need Dybala to play, this is ridiculous.

Wait, is the second part of your comment supposed to be what Zamp will say or is that you?
