the problem with Gerrard-Lampard is that they played the same role so not a great fit together regardless of both being legends.

kinda how Italy benched DP10 for Totti
Well, Italy was loaded, give me now DP and Totti and they will start for damn sure in the current Italy squad. Lamps-Gerrard are similar, yes, but like not even competing, not talking about winning, like seriously just to be a contender, England never managed to do even that.

EDIT: hell make current DP and Totti lace them up again, and they might start ahead of Berna, Chiesa and dirty Neapolitan midget

they always had so much hype and always managed to fall short

looks like it, though sometimes they are not, but still can't win shit. Like Scholes-Lampard-Gerrard is an amazing trio + Beckham and Owen Hargreaves, how you not even competing internationally with such a midfield is a mystery.
They had some great players trough the years but always lacked something.

Would you guys take him back? Lets say free transfer in summer 2022, huge wage + Raiola's commision.

I'd say sure in a heartbeat two years ago, not so much now honestly. Watching Manure fairly regulary (schadenfraude) I only see a shadow of the player Pogba was. Dynamic, brilliantly skilled and exciting to watch mezzala turned into lazy wannabe regista, except he's not that great at playmaking. No hunger, no workrate, no technical brilliance.

Obviously the "talent" he plays with at Manure hinders him, so does the clueless manager, but the attitude is just awful. They paid a world record fee for Pogba at the time, he's on 300k/w on something but Pogba doesn't give a shit about the club obviously. I'd be furious if I were a Manure fan.
Why would we take him in the summer of 2022 when we can do it in the summer of 2021? Contract expires at the summer of 2021 IIRC

Would make absolutely zero sense for them not to sell now if that’s the case.. tbf i’m more inclined to believe UTD might have the option of extending for another year otherwise again it would be extremely bad business from them.

But then again it’s also Raiola involved here so it could very well be all planned out for a bigger sign on fee, agent comission + higher wages for the player if he becomes a free agent next summer. that’d be epic lol
Ohh you might be right. Forgot about it but the question is also - Is it worth it for them to pay these massive wages only to lose him a year later for free?

United have the option of extending his deal for one more year to 2022. Its unknown if the club can trigger it unilaterally or if has to be agreed with the player.

Pogbas problems here started the year we gave him the 10 in desperation because he was throwing tantrums and believeing he was all that. His last season here was very frustrating, specially the last motnhs. Always moaning to teammates and looking for excuses on the pitch. I was very let down by him, when we needed him to step up the most.

Fast forward 4 years and now he is a football misfit who doesnt know what to do with his life. he has a world cup, some leagues, and a lot of dabbing on his social media.

I fear that he comes back worse than when he left. Yeah, here is pirlo and the seniors who know him... but in the end each player needs to find its own path and its motive to play and to train harder...to look for excellency. IN Juventus nothing is given for granted and he will find a cohesive group here hopefully... but he just cant come back trying to be the dabbing queen he is now.

I remember fondly how skilled he was in his prime years in Juve... but now i fear that his mind is elsewhere and this 4 years in his manU purgatory really derailed him even more. I fear he maybe is beyond fixeable.

lmao even getting him on a free would be a bad idea.

his gonna ask for insane wages, and he will be 29. so now u are stuck with an unsellable player for 4 seasons.

hell naw. we should be lookig for new ronaldos and messies.
His wages are the other issues.

No way in hell he will come here like morata and ask for a paycut. If he comes free, he will demand minimum 13 to 15m. Still, that is way better than paying 80 mils and 12 mil in wages... but still..... im not too convinced in his future compromise of ecxellency with Juve. I feel he is in his comfort zone right now.... and if he comes back, he will have to train and suffer like everyone else.

Also, i dont know if he is dying to win another scudetto to be honest... i think he simply cant find any purpouse anymore in football....i fear that.

Am a big fan of Pogba ... but yeah .... the salary he wants... his attitude as professional and as a footballer at least bar with Juve since 4 years ...

i think this ship is sealed without him and our mid look better ....

It is not about individuals but more of a collective and team play ....

But i still want him here  I like him

i think he knows that he did a big mistake if Covid didnt happen , he is here already after Riola fight with MU .... but covid came ....

I would bring him just for nostalgia to be honest... but him as a footballer, as a proffesional... doesnt convince me... not even a little.

Hell yes! he was a freak of nature here. So eager, so daring. He wanted to let people know who he was.

Now, i really dont know what he wants or aspire to do with his life, let alone with his football.
Maybe Pirlo and all his 2015 buddies could re-ignite that fire in him

Give me a single player actually made it in MU?

the environment is toxic And OS failed a while ago ... Morinho time also past it as a coach ...

If Pogba signed he will burn the field here ...

I know manU is shit, but he decided to go there in first place knowing how that team was... just for the money.

Then, he has struggled to bring his best in that team. I know the enviroment is not good and that there could be issues... but Pogba himself is not doing any favors to himself either. And thats on him, not on the team or the coach. He should be proffesional even on bad days,,,, and to me he just seem like he doesnt care anymore.
