No. Please shut up.
Voice of reason, that was incredible amount of shitty logic you posted.

Manu failed this season, they are big club with so called coach, out spent the entire football world, signed the best players from each top leagues last season ( except La Liga) and what they amounted to is finishing 6th.

Winning EL is alright, but far from good enough to call season success, except winning it accomplished CL spot, that's basically the good part. With that huge budget winning who they won in EL should been foregone conclusion and not much of a merit badge.

If people 'dint care' about the EL, there wouldn't have been such an outrage like there was on here when we crashed out to Benfica. A European trophy is a European trophy. United were unspectacular but they got to the CL atleast. People calling their season a failure or shit have their hate towards United cloud their judgement as usual.

Usual Tuz double standards. Nothing new.
Scratched their way to pathetic 6th place in a season that's historical low amount of wins for them. Won EL that's virtually the forgotten step child of Europe for top clubs. Only use it had it accomplished, get CL spot.

Im just saying that he came to a rotten club, had similarly broken squad to Van Gaal and managed to squeeze that team into CL, something neither Moyes or Van Gaal managed to do. Mourinho's teams always peak at season 2, I wouldnt write him off yet.
Didn't you just read a post that said Mourinho finished 4th and 5th in charge while Mourinho finishes 6th? Similarly broken squad. VG had Bailly, Mkhitaryan, Pogba and Zlatan?

ratcafe got an entire thread on how Pogdab improved and matured under Mourinho as opposed to Allegri.
I litterally read couple weeks ago them saying biggiest waste of a player ever for them(hyperbole too) . How the fuck does a deflection goal and bastard child special Olympics trophy change the narrative that steeply?

I'm glad they won the EL. I hope we'll face them in the Group Stages next season and Conte's Chelsea in the knockout rounds.

No, but in 2014/15 Van Gaal had Van Persie, Rooney, Carrick, di Maria, Mata, Javier Hernandez, Kagawa, Falcao, besides they got rid of Evra for free. Id say Mourinho started with a way shittier team, at least he signed some good players and managed to get into CL.

Did you actually watch that United and see how those players performed?

Yeh, I think a coach that cant make good and wc players perform to their level is not doing something right. thing is Van Gaal choked at ManU with (imo) a better squad, Mourinho inherited complete garbage team and still squeezed out an EL trophy.

How on Earth is it a worse United team? Everyone from fans to experts hailed them before the season.

And I'm not a fan of their current team. I heavily criticised both the team and Mourinho, before the start of the season.

Are you on drugs? You are posting rubbish.

Mourinho spent 185 mil. The 5 teams they faced in the knockouts spent a combined 75 million. Combined, they spent less than Mourinho spent on Pogba. Add to that they got Zlatan who is a top 5 striker in football for free.

Winning EL with that kind of financial advantage isn't impressive at all. It's like allowing a heavyweight boxer to compete in the straw weight division.

If United had beat something like Lyon, Roma, Tottenham on the way to an EL title, that's one thing, but St Etienne, Rostov, Anderlecht, Celta Vigo, Ajax is a joke.

United has 5x the squad of any of these teams. So let's drop the nonsense about this being some kind of impressive feat. They literally gave up on the league 2 months ago to focus on barely squeaking by a bunch of minnows. Mou did a shit job considering the team he has and the money he spent.
