Even in his first year he tapped his feet endlessly? 
All I remember to be honest is either Vidal or Pirlo taking them after DP left. I only really started noticing it this year.

Veratti is a very good player, he is more consistent at being good but he doesnt have moments of ingenuity. I would rather have geniun game changer like Pogs here, a bit inconsistent but capable of briliant move that could shift te balance of the game in our favor. Besides the fact they play in entirely different roles Veratti will never become an icon for millions of kids around the world. Pogba already is and we'll be the ones to reap te benefits, hopefully. Straight swap between the two is just crazy talk. Pogba is more complete player with extraordinary physicall abilities and on his bad day is very well capable to create several goalscoring opportunities like yesterday. Couple of weeks ago he was going through a good period and no one in their right mind would suggest a deal like you proposed, but as soon as he hits few rough weeks people get crazy ideas. He is 23 yo afterall.

Pogba is fucked up on his brain and needs to get his shid together , or play more conservative as a defensive midfielder and limit him to pass the ball fast and the occassional dribble or long range shot.
Right now the guy is a mess between deciding to pass the ball or dribbling the whole team.

Pogba on other hand can out of nowhere do something extraordinary that will drop everybody's jaws but you take that away and you're left with a kid who's not that young anymore but seems to be lacking the proper guidance, looks untrained and unpolished leading to bad decisions and who apparently has trouble focusing on the game. The problem is his progress which has stopped, that's the whole problem right there, it's not just a phase. He went from a top season to an excellent season to now a decent season. But even in those good seasons he never was the consistent player we expected, we just loved him for his brilliant moments and screamers.
I do agree that marketing wise he's an icon though and that's good for Juventus. It's a matter of what one thinks is best for the team, if having consistency in or a better image off the pitch.... As a die hard fan (which translates to someone who often places passion before business) I'd take in everyday of the week.
He did have an excellent season but personally I thought the one before was even better. Probably not by a lot but imo he regressed nevertheless. Injury or not.

I think you're going a little far with this. Last season was his best season imo, and he really isn't much worse this season than in either of the previous two... If anything I'd say what's disappointing is that he's plateaued, not that he's regressed. I just don't see the regression.
He sees more of the ball this year than in either of the past two seasons. And has more responsibilities... But his tackling, interception, and clearance stats have been within a narrow margin for 3 years... His passing numbers, passing accuracy, key passes per game, long balls per game are identical the last 3 years... His successful dribbles and fouls won have been identical... and he's not being dispossessed or making bad touches more frequently than the last 2 years. His numbers went slightly up from 13/14 to 14/15, and have stayed the same this year 15/16.
He's also won possession in the final third of the pitch more times than any player in Serie A this season (25 times going into the game against Atalanta)... which is very impressive.
Where you see that he's improved leaps and bounds over the past 2 seasons is in the CL. More passes, more key passes, more long balls, more successful dribbles (by a large amount), dispossessed less, more shots, more tackles, more interceptions... He's imposing himself upon games in Europe far more than the last 2 years.
Serie A, he's levelled off, and needs to get his head straightened out and show he's motivated to continue becoming a world class player.

People are being too harsh on Pogba.
First and foremost: the guy has played more than 3.300 minutes already this season. It's an insane number when we haven't even reached the 30th round, specially for a midfielder who has to create and defend the whole game.
He is gassed. Can't blame the guy for the dip in his form. It's a natural consequence of his over deployment.
Secondly, you take Pogba out of this team, and the midfield will make you cry. All the creativity we have steem from him or Dybala. We basically depend on the guy in order to create goal chances. The fact he never gets to rest tells a lot about his importance to the team.
About him being able to take over a team - give me a fucking break, the guy isn't 23 yrs yet.
I just hope Marotta can keep him. He's simply unreplaceable, specially when we already lack creative players. It will be a fucking desert out there without him.
He is a historically talented player who have bailed us out more than we can acknowledge during the last years. I just hope he can get some rest.

He's been actually rested 1 time this entire season. He was on the bench for the 4-0 win against Udinese on January 17...
We tried to rest him for the 2nd leg against Inter in Coppa Italia, but he ended up on the pitch for 35 minutes anyways.
He also had a yellow card suspension for the 2-0 away win against Lazio December 4th. And played 45 minutes against Chievo in September.
Allegri for some silly reason even played him the full 90+ minutes in all of our first three Coppa Italia matches.
So he's basically played everything but 300 minutes in all competitions for us so far this year. Over 3300 minutes of a possible 3600 minutes. All while being by far our most important and relied upon midfielder each match.
He's done an amazing job in my opinion, even if he hasn't been quite as spectacular as hoped for.
