Jem but you still forget the wages it takes to lure those world class players. You talk about transfer fees but wages is just as important when balancing the budget.Say we go after 3 wc players, their wages would cost 3x more than the cost we have to bare with Pogba's new contract. So we have to think in that aspect too.
Realistically with that money,i see us doing a Napoli-esque market by overpaying for one world class player and get a few good to very good players. If that were to be the case, then id rather stay how we are, build on it by bringing some quality winger in,maybe two which probably can be financed through fringe and co-owned player sales.
Yes, I agree.

All in all, the best outcome is if Pogba stays with us. It's by no means an easy task to acquire top players anyway, regardless of how much money we would get for him. Transfer fees are high these days, and so are wages, as you pointed out. I just thought that we were destined to lose Pogba very soon, so I was trying to find positive aspects about it (however uncertain they may be). I still carry the belief that Marotta & co. would be able to increase the overall quality of the squad were we to sell him for an incredible amount of money, but it's by no means a given.

Keeping Pogba is all in all the best solution. I've just been resigned to losing him, I guess. And to prevent myself from being so disappointed about it, I've remembered the Zidane-scenario and how we came out on top in the end, hoping that we could do something similar with the sale of Pogba. But if I could choose, I would keep Pogba.

Ppl who want Pogba sold are the same ppl who were crying about Juve becoming a selling club when these reports surfaced.
Juve believe in keeping its stars and building a foundation with them. Its one of the key factors in taking a step towards ascending into the elite.
Thats what Bayern did yrs ago which got them to the position they are now.Thats what we'll do as well.We have to be patient.Good times in Europe are gonna come.
We dont need to get desperate here.Pogba is staying and he'll deliver top performances for us.He's only 20 afterall.
Im really happy to see the board putting full effort in retaining its top stars despite the league being in a shit state.Thats how its done peasands.
Fucking seal of approval right there

meh clauses are for small clubs tbh.

Good stuff if he's signing it. It'd would be somewhat hard to replace him. If we're to win something in Europe we need players like him in the squad.
i think Barcelona has 200M release clauses in their best players contracts... that was few years ago, they might have removed them

Juventus ds Paratici - "Pogba? was already a known player. was not an invention. Manchester United withdrew when he was fifteen with a little 'details from Le Havre , and it was already very gifted. We checked the contractual maturities, so as to fit. knowing and following him came this proposal and we got it for luck. E 'is a great player and a great person. has a future ahead of him that none of us can imagine".

Raiola (Pogba's agent) "With Marotta we'll meet soon to discuss. There's no hurry, he's good at Juventus & he wants to stay long in Turin.Pogba is non-transferable, he'll stay at Juve. I repeat, we'll meet soon to extend his contract (until 2018)"
oh fuck yes :tuttosport: This is amazing news

It seems PSG really were in it for pogba . But due to FFP cant anymore .

Pogba's agent, Raiola on PSG's Pres. words ("for now we don't need purchases") "I said that if they do not want him there is no problem , will remain at Juventus where he is fine "
You made my morning :D

I am not sure about that.It all depends of the will of the included parties,club-player/manager.Teams put buy out clause, sky high in order to try to protect their most valued players from attack of other clubs. But I don't see anything wrong to put that kind of a clause in Pogba contract. For a 100 mil,for example.

Pogba "Never thought of going away from Juve. I have a contract, what are we talking about? Call from Zidane? " False"
La Stampa "You said that you like to play in Real Madrid" ? .Pogba "Never said that. I said that Real & Man United are great teams like Juve"
Pogba on his future "I never thought or talked about leaving Juve, I want to stay & to win FOURTH consecutive Scudetto with Juve." La Stampa
Pogba "I haven't spoken to Zidane and I did not say that I would like to play elsewhere, in Real Madrid or in other teams."
Pogba "I wasn't used to playing matches every 3 days. At Juve I learned to be a professional especially in the daily work to manage my body"
Pogba "The fans of Juventus want me well, I'm here at Juventus and it makes no sense to speak about the future, I want to stay"
Pogba "I'm worth 70 million? No, do not think about it. I think about the World Cup with France & then I will continue to win at Juventus"
