What to expect on a weekly basis over the next couple of months:

Sunday: "Goal.com has learned that PSG has agreed to terms with Juventus over transfer fee for Paul Pogba"
Monday: "Chelsea officials met with Riola to discuss contract terms for Paul Pogba"
Tuesday: "Paul Pogba and his agent were seen in Barcelona airport...deal imminent"
Wednesday: "Paul Pogba completed physical with Manchester City! Deal to be announced tomorrow"
Thursday: "Real Madrid officials seen in Turin to discuss deal with Juventus"
Friday: "Manchester United have prepared #6 jersey for Paul Pogba!"
Saturday: "Paul Pogba seen in the general vicinity of Emirates Stadium! Deal with Arsenal all but wrapped up"

September 1: Paul Pogba on Juventus opening day squad.

English papers: "van Gaal/Mourinho/Pelligrini/Wenger passed on Pogba because of their concern over his hamstring injury in March"
Spanish papers: "Barca/Real have agreed to terms with Juve and Pogba to sign him in 2016."

Sponsorship deals must be within reasonable sums. If the sponsor is understood to be fueling money without getting reasonable profit, it's an illegal sponsorship. PSG (or City) can't sell the chest-sponsor for €1000M for instance.

So yeah. I doubt City will be able to afford €80m on Pogba.

In fact given the change in UEFA on FFP I am pretty sure City will find 80m for Pogba. The only question would be - are we going to sell.

This might be one of the last moments to use the backdoors of the FFP. The Agnelli's would be stupid not to use it.
