If those are the choices for improving our team then Pogba shouldn't be sold at all costs.

This is not the same era as Moggi. I do not have confidence in Marotta to spend the money wisely.

Keep in mind clubs will know we have 100m collecting dust so clubs will be trying to milk us with higher than normal inflated costs.

Pogba will retire here and the #6 will be untouched for a really long time a la Sciera to Pogba. :touched:
this

He was injured during preseason, often picking up a knock when going away with his NT. Considering the injury struggles that he had it was a decent showing, but far from Vidal from the last season, which I already said you selective reader.

He's gonna pick up his form eventually and we'll again have one of the best b2b mids in the world. Ridiculous to writte a player off after few months of poor form, mostly due to already mentioned injury issues, while we've all seen before what he was capable of.

We didn't. I'm saying guys like DelPiero84 are delusional if they think we're in a position to hold on to our best players i.e. Vidal and Pogba by just winning Serie A.
Talking about wierd obsessions; I guess I fascinate you this much that you constantly feel the need to bring me up in every discussion you have in this loony place.

It is not delusional to think that we won't sell our best players, or be forced to sell them, get hassled, if so far we've never did that kind of business. If the offer is tempting then we'd consider it, gains and loses, but players don't force their way out of here. We're standing firmly among top 10 European clubs atm with potential to further improve our status in the following years. Our wage bill is among top 5, which should tell you that neither of our players would leave in search of better salaries elsewhere and few clubs if any can guarantee CL glory.

To consistently spew crap about this club, mgt, mock our players, is disgusting and unworthy. You're such a pussy, mate. Grow a pair.

A 100 mill offer obviously cannot be refused and its too big of a figure I doubt its more than made up rumors.

Our squad needs a heavy revamp and that money can go a long way in doing so. Tevez is going to have 1 year left on his contract and is old anyway. Falcao is old too and so should only come on a tevez like deal which is unlikely. Llorente is old and misfiring this season. Pirlo and Buffon and Barzagli are retiring too. Vidal is likely to be sold too. Evra is nothing more than a short term fix and is not good enough. The licht just started his 30s.

Apart from a veteran chiellini, a veteran marchisio, a peaking bonnucci and a growing ogbonna, Morata and Pereyra, the rest of the squad is leaving soon. Even of those staying, none of them has showed the kind of world class consistency we need to take a step to the next level.

Pogba's money can be great for us the same way zidane's money was but it could also be wasted a la liverpool or to a lesser extent tottenham.
In short, do we need funds to buy a new squad? yes and very soon it will be urgent. Should we sell if a great offer comes? yes. Will the money be spent wisely? I dunno Marotta has some great and not so great deals. I think we will have to trust him and take the chance.

100 Million Euros in Marotta's hands = 5 Pereyras
Haha depends. If he get's 100 million in cash, it could be like 7 or 8 Pereyra's because you know Marotta will staggered the payments over like 3-4 years.

The worst thing about the Pogba rumours though are that the the group of players that they have us purchasing are Falcao, Ramires, Hummels, and Miranda.

My biggest question? Where is the trequartista?

We've been rumoured all mercato to get one, but our "shopping list" excludes one. That's how you know its made up.

If we were to sell Pogba, it has to be an obscene return, one that makes PSG uncomfortable. They paid 50 million euro for David Freakin Luiz, meaning that Pogba is worth at least 100. I'd want a group of players for him and I'd favour PSG because I think they'd pay the most. I think they'd pay more than Man City just because of the marketing ability of the best French player in the world on the best French team.

If we did intend on taking the deal, my asking price would be something like:
Verratti + Cavani + 40 million EUR, provided that €din$on Cavani takes a pay cut.

Kinda agree with you. If we were to sell Pogba I wouldn't trust the management with. I'd want cash+player Kroos+James+60mil
