That's cool and all, but that's like 5% of a midfielders game, and really not worth mentioning.
Probably shouldn't bother mentioning a player like Pirlo with incredible vision and technique, then, since less than 5% of midfielders have that.

Meh. Why ya'll hating on Verratti just because Pogba is a gem as well.

I for one would love to see Verratti in our stripes.

Hopefully it'll happen soon :)

It's interesting to read that Man Utd forum RedCafe. I saw a few (tuz members) say he should look to impose himself a bit more because he didn't get many passes from the defenders, then I came across this post.

He'll grow as a player. They also seem to be in conflict on where Juventus stands on a European scale (in terms of size and attractiveness), need a few more good CL games to win everyone over I guess.
Wow, a lot of fools over there!
I don't think I'm being a homer, when I say that Juventus is a top 10 team in the world. Man U is obviously as well. But come, a lot of those posters... They prbably think Stoke City or Southhampton would take it to that silly little team from Italy...
Someone should mention that Juve's Midfield would run circles around Man U's Mid. The only place on the pitch Man U is better is wherever Rooney plays. In fact, he's probably the only guy in their first 11 that would play over Juve's first 11. Maybe Vidic, over Barzagli too?

They're a club that's just made their way back to the top in Italy after an enforced exile, and are perhaps, if I'm generous, the biggest of the pretenders to Europe's top table at the moment. They've done nothing in Europe for years, whereas United have been in three finals over the last five or six years.

They're easily a step down from United at the moment, if not more than one (i.e. several) steps down.

Obviously I wouldn't put all my money on United beating them if we came up against them, but I wouldn't be putting all my money on United beating Cluj in our next CL game either. It means nothing.
Right :p

dont think that's what he meant. if i got it right, he's saying ability to win headers for a midfielder only is useful about 5% of the time he's on the field. Pirlo's vision and technique are in use 100% of the time he's out there.
