No... since the begining of the season the players know this, Fagioli was banned for the same thing at the start of the season.

We are paying Pogba 10M per year, he is our number 10 and the player that are supoust to lead the midfield, he has been out for nearly a year becouse HE choose to threat his injuy in a wrong way... if he cant o dont want to show up early to practice he MUST be banned.

I dont care if this is an important game, in fact thats one more reason for the ban.
I'm not going to judge an injured a long time player , he consulted specialists who gave their opinion, it was not him who decided on his own.

I agree, but we don't know the exact reasons for his delay (justified or not, 5 minutes or 1 hour late...), it's really frustrating that the most important game of the year to deprive of his best midfielder.

I agree that the rules are strict, but then when you see paredes who doesn't care about training all week, you don't call him for the game, when you see Kean's behavior, you don't call him to the next game.

No, the specialists gave him options and he made the decision based on those options. He could have had the surgery to start the year.

Being late is being late doesn't matter if it's an hour or 5 mins. If those are the rules set by the club then hold him accountable just like any other player. The other points you are trying to make don't really matter since they are based on ethical reasons.

Couldn't believe my eyes seeing him wearing that after he desecrated it with a sharpie last time around.

so no Pogba and possibly Rugani starter again in an important European match? All is fine.
If Rugani cares enough to show up on time that's in his favour.

Do I remember correctly that this happened in his first stint, and after a fine and being dropped he was always first to show up? Or was that somebody else? This guy created all this hype and then believed it too much. Good for Allegri for checking his attitude

Edit: I checked and it was twice in a week. Conte put him in the stands and he grew into the world's greatest CM prospect

He should be punished but exclusion at this time was not mature decision, something like more laps to run around or Financial penalty could be a decent punishment.
And then he will do it again... and again... and all the players who were "afraid" of show up late because of what happend to Fagioli, will see that the rule can be boken an will beging to show up late to training...

A rule its a rule, once you broke the rule theres no turning back.

before a big game like this, i'd make an exception since he doesn't play regularly and definitely miss some matches due to injury or out of form.

we gave up dybala for this
Both are not good enough in different ways. This akin to saying we gave up Conte for Allegri. Both dinosaurs and not good enough but in different ways. Ofc we may end up with the Keane of coaches next and regret both

we gave up dybala for di maria. would do it once again

pogba is our ramsey replacement. and he still managed to be a disappointment :lol3:
For me Ticis worst transfer summer was his first one when he bought Rabiot and Ramsey. Never thought anyone could beat that double trouble duo, but Pogba and Paredes win hands down and you could see it from a 100 miles away.
