If anything Pools midfield is their weak point (compared to City f.e.), Pools fullbacks bail out midfields incompetence big time, don't think there ever has been a team before were the 2 fullbacks combined for ~30 assists between them in a single season.

We (and honestly Liverpool as well) really need a mobile goal/assist machine in midfield like Pogba or SMS not more experience, leadership or winning know-how

Lol where you getting those numbers from, and i meant the whole transfer budget
The whole transfer budget is hard to say, would guess we would spend 80-90m net after sales if we prioritize certain targets. We probably sold already 50m and I can sadly see us sacrifice a big name or two if we want to do a huge mid and CB signing.

And yeah I dont see us getting bargain price for Pogba because he is still high profile marketable machine who would have interest from others. So a minimum of 90-100m for him.

A New tax law in Italy enables Juve to be in a better position to pay €15m net to Pogba in wages.

As opposed to paying ~ €30m (gross) before, the new tax law sees a reduction with Juve having to pay €21m (gross), which is a wage committment of €15m net.

Realistic price for Pogba in the current market is somewhere around 120-140m imo. If he really pushes for a move it might be a bit lower. It's a hard deal for any team to make happen.

Yep, PSG and Barca will be FFP restricted, Bayern dont do anything above 80m it seems, so that leaves only us and Real Madrid for him. Zidane will want him but not at any cost. Not in a summer they are signing Hazard, Jovic and probably another big deal.

It's Real Madrid and Papa Flo, 10 summers ago they spent 258m in one summer, breaking transfer record twice in the same window. I'm sure when Zidane returned, he was promised an enormous transfer budget, only question is if he rates Pogba enough to splash. From the way he spoke of him in the past it feels like he doesn't rate him to be a 100m player.

So that new tax turned to be real?

That will help us and Serie A a lot.
