RE: Juventus Stadium Issue

"This sounds like a move to push the Juventus Brand, more than anything else.

Think about it.

How is it that Man U and Real are far and away more popular than Juve around the world??

Doesn't make much sense, if you go by on the field accomplishments, but it's not just about that, it's about image.

Reducing the stadium to somewhere in the upper 40's would make sense, provided that they use the new features of the stadium to generate a serious revenue stream.

More Euro's= More transfers.

Juve, in the past, would make these huge transfers, such as Buffon, and not really have the means to support it due to a lack of revenue generating products.

The USA Tour was huge for them, as I got a chance to see my heroes play in Boston. I even went to the practice and had my picture taken with Nedved and got all of the stars' autographs.

it was christmas in july.

Anyway, I hope I wasn't too wordy for my first post."

Kapo

I still do not know where Kapo plays. I have heard from left mid to right striker. When I saw him play for Auxerre he was playing a right-sided attacking mid. Moggi always buys players no one ever expects, like Appiah and Camoranesi! Look how they turned out so far. Rosicky and Van der Vaart would be a lot better.
Actually I think that was my second post Elnur. I'll find the first. ;)

Look at this loser's first post:

Andy
The new Juve: 2004-2005 Stagione
This next summer will most certainly bring new players wearing black and white in the Stadio delle Alpi. At defence, I suspect Thuram will go to Real for a fee of about 8 million of Euro, and Ferrara, Montero (PLEASE!), Tudor (forever injured) and Pessotto will all leave. I think Moggi should open the wallet for Trabelsi, Bonera, Ferrari, Squillaci, and maybe even Evra. This depends on if Lippi leaves and Deschamps bringing in some from Monaco. In the centrocampo, I think Camoranesi should be sacrificed (I have not seen him do anything since the Cahmpion's League game against Feyenoord in 2002 when he had two assists). Tacchinardi can only tackle, so we need a player who can pass the ball ( like Pirlo). For this, Tiago Mendes fits the bill. I don't think we should sell Nedved yet, but Trezeguet should be pushed out the door. We should bring in either Rosicky or Van der Vaart as backup. It would be nice to secure Jimenez away from other teams. In attack, Chevanton but more especially Ibrahimovic should be rushed in. Gilardino's rights should be secured as well.

Totti is overrated, Del Piero is better, Roma should be relegated like Fiorentina to Serie C2. Roma is WORTHLESS!!!!

I declare this forum open, now if we could only get a couple of people in here.

What a way to celebrate the next millennium (according to many)! :D

When you opened the forums, how many people did you know registered immediately?

if nobody, how long did it take till the first person registered? :)

One person knew about it before I started it, she registered right after me. Then I spammed XT, the juve mailing list and a bunch of other places to draw people. :D

I can just imagine Martin sitting in front of his computer on New Year's Eve, gleefully rubbing his hands together with party hat in place, getting ready to launch the forums while everyone else is outdoors watching the fireworks and getting drunk.

Bravo Martin :D

jeez. i called Martin a loser for launching a forum on new year's.
You quoted me.. and of course, yet again, "where it's comming from" isn't set in stone to be martin..

I have a suggestion... you know how there's a headphone jack at ATMs for blind (NOT DEAF :D) people. Since you can't make complete sentances (that's aren't ambiguous), I think the forums should provide some sort of voice post for you. On Skype, you make a lot more sense. ;)
