Good signing guys, with the money we saved we can still get another defender so that could be good.
Inter apparently signed a tough tackling defender from River called Rivas, his nickname is "Tyson", should be funny to see Materazzi next season with one ear and a bruised ribcage.
So it seems that Samuel's future at Inter could be short, I say Secco goes for him, and with Andrade and Samuel in Defence, we would already have one of the best partnerships in the world.
Come on Secco one more!!!
thats actually a good idea..Samuel would come on the cheap i think..and he might be able to regain his old form with Juve..he certainly is worth the gamble..but i think it would be unfair to Criscito then..As he will go down the pecking order.

look at Rio and Vidic, they're absolute monsters in Defence.
call me old fashioned but i prefer a partnership like canna and thuram, sum1 who is tall in presense like thuram, and sum1 shorter who is better on the ground clearance like canna. and samuel and andrade arnt exactly fast defenders either, where by rio is

i think it would work just fine..as Andrade is more the athletic defender that relies on his pace and physique..while Samuel is a good reader of the game. That said i dont think Juve really need a new defender now..

offload Boum,Zalayeta and Gianchedda and the team has enough quality to challenge the likes of milan and Inter..Maybe not next season as the team needs to gel together and all..but defenitly has a big chance to realistically win the scudetto the season after next.

Why have a short defender by choice? Plenty of big centre back partnerships work.

They have to leap like salmon (or Canna) to be a really good centreback.

Whats for sure, two shorties are useless.

This 'Tyson' guy will be immediately loaned out, because Inter want to keep the non EU-Place for Veron.

i wouldnt agree with the latter..Rio's a fuckin Monster..few defenders out there are as strong as him.
The problem with Ferdinand is that his pace and strength are usually used to recover from his own lapses in concentration. He was better last season, but I still don't rate him that highly. I prefer Vidic.

i hope veron stays with estudientes if he knows whats good for him, the team that gave him bk his form under an old friend of simeone, a team that has given him bk his place at the NT, and to throw it all away to have gay argentine sex and to finish 3rd

i agree..he still has his lapses of concentration from time to time..and i'd say that vidic did have a better season yes..i dont rate him that highly myself actually(Rio).
