We actually have a higher stated transfer budget by our board than Barcelona. Our board pledged 70 million Euros to transfers, while Barca stated around 45. Come again.
That remains to be seen: what the board pledge and do are often not the same thing.

No doubt new contracts will have eaten into that 70...

I just don't understand what all this fuss is about. We all wanted a strong cb, we got him. And still the bitching won't stop. We couldn't get Milito, get over it. Andrade is our, he will wear the Juve jersey for years to come. We should welcome him and support him. Let's start discussing future moves and stop arguing over the past.

Meh all comments made by Milito's agent, Milito, Zaragoza and our management aside, I would never expect him to go to Juventus instead of Barca at this state of time.

I'm very happy with Andrade.

SO he was injured since March 2006 to November 2006 and missed the World Cup. Was he injured since then?

Anyway, here's his positioning during the games:

And here's a brief history for him in the last seasons:

I've seen that yesterday, but its like wikipedia but then with football line ups isn't it?
So it could contain some mistakes

I like the signing. I'm hoping he pulls a Canna on us and drastically improves on his injury situation. Folks thought Canna was over coz of frequent injuries but he came back with one hell of a bang. It's a definate plus imo on the experience side. When fit, he captians Portugal and replaces Meira in central defence which shows decent leadership. Gaby is 3 years younger though, which would've been good

It's a very good signing, Andrade. Now we just need Barzagli/Cris/Meira/Cannavaro or Samuel and we're set :D

Not good enough!! Chivu is 2nd best defender in the world with only Nesta ahead of him.
Thats taking it too far chivu isnt even the 2nd best defender in italy let alone the world..He isnt better than Carragher,Carvalho,Ayala,Cannavaro,Terry or Puyol
Milito said he wanted Juventus, so you do the math.
He also said he wanted to play for Barca..so i'd take it with a pich of salt

Good signing guys, with the money we saved we can still get another defender so that could be good.
Inter apparently signed a tough tackling defender from River called Rivas, his nickname is "Tyson", should be funny to see Materazzi next season with one ear and a bruised ribcage.
So it seems that Samuel's future at Inter could be short, I say Secco goes for him, and with Andrade and Samuel in Defence, we would already have one of the best partnerships in the world.
Come on Secco one more!!!
