Blasi and Olivera. You could critisise them for being starters, but both have talent. Blasi still gets regular call ups for the Azzuri!
Those are by and large exceptions to the rule...Lots of guys who do well on loan/co-ownership don't every get to put on the jersey.

Molinaro signs new deal

Siena have revealed that Christian Molinaro has signed a new contract with the club.

The defender is now tied to Siena until 2011 but is still part-owned by Serie B giants Juventus.

His impressive form for the Tuscan outfit led to an international call-up for Italy's friendly with Romania, which was postponed after the recent violence in Serie A.

Molinaro began his career with Salernitana.

He is excellent, one of the hottest Italian prospects together with Criscito, we should re-sign him and we will have Molinaro for left back and Chiellini for central defender, Balzaretti as alternative. :smoke:

if i remember correctly then i've seen him play once or twice this season and he was alrite. Good dribble, pretty fast, good crosses, and basically a balanced player between defense and offense.

could be an interesting player to bring back but i dont think hes a hot prospect yet

Siena transfer guru Giorgio Perinetti has revealed that Roma are interested in promising defender Cristian Molinaro.
The stopper, who was tipped to win his first call-up to the Italy squad before the Romania clash was cancelled, has caught the eye this term.
“I can confirm that Roma have contacted us to enquire about his contractual situation,” stated the Tuscan sporting director.
However, Juventus will have a say in the player’s future seeing as he is co-owned between both Bianconeri outfits.
“He signed a new deal with us until 2011 recently which illustrated that he is very tied to this outfit,” added Perinetti.
“We’ve believed in him for some time.
Now we’ll have to see what Juventus decide. We have an excellent relationship with them and we’ll obviously speak with them first before making any decisions on Molinaro.
“No meeting has yet been set-up with the Turin club, but it is now clear that the player is being watched by the big Italian sides.”
Molinaro, born in 1983, started his career with hometown team Salernitana in 2000 and remained there until Juve and Siena signed him in 2005.
