You are still playing in Europe, in the CL and living in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Everyone would consider it. He will be getting a lot of money, exposure and a chance at the Ballon d'or if he wins the CL with PSG. Not the same thing as playing in the Chinese league.
Also rumoured to be paid 300m to be the face of Qatar's World Cup campaign. Same Qatar that PSG owners are from! WHAT A COINCIDENCE!

Neymar is making the right choice for him. Worse comes to worse he can go to Real Madrid in a few years anyway.

There are no written contracts on dealings between these entities.....but clearly UEFA has to look into this and prove they are "non-affiliated or non-interested parties". The sponsorship deals are all deliberately inflated so that PSG can say it has higher revenue in order to justify their costs according to FFP. Any transfer that involves the player being paid by anyone outside the club is effectively a breach in rules - but of course, they will argue its a coincidence.

Whole thing makes me sick in a way. At least Man U get their revenue based on their own marketability and its clean. Something about PSG really gets under my skin.

Neymar is the weirdest fucking player I have ever seen.

On the one hand he is incredibly passionate and driven during every game he plays. E.g. the Barca-PSG game, his entire team thought it was over, but Neymar kept believing and kept pushing. During the WC in 2014 he was the sole reason Brazil was any sort of a contender and when he got injured they completely failed without him.

On the other hand he is a total moneygrabbing whore going for every sponsorship deal he can get and now even leaving Barca for PSG, which is a relegation no matter which way you look at it.
I dont see whats so weird about that. He is driven just his goal is money not football success. Pretty sure he once said hes not really a footie fan and doesnt and wouldnt watch if he wasnt a part of it

Rich but also ballsy.

They refuse to be the shadow of the Spanish teams.

- - - Updated - - -

They are complete retards with too much money and no brains. They blew so much money in the last 5-6 years and they have almost nothing to show for it. A fucking monkey would have done better.
Yeah, it's a huge bet because they believe Neymar will be the next best player in the world, the one that will bring them CL glory.

They took the wrong gamble. Mbappe is gonna be miles ahead of Neymar. And, in fact, even at this point I'd easily pick Mbappe over Neymar and pay even less.

But I agree with Juliano13, PSG are morons without a doubt, not just because of Neymar case but their overall spendings and zero achievements.

If you can consider winning Ligue 1 zero achievements then Juventus has won nothing by winning Serie A.

And yeah, Mbappe seems like the next Messi/Ronaldo but he has Real Madrid written all over him.

Only time will tell if PSG made the right bet.

Actually, PSG earned my respect with this deal.

Those guys are ballsy af.
They could pay $1billion for Neymar and it make no difference, that's the level of money we are talking here. It's like me going to the penny sweet counter and buying the lot for £50.

Some arab dude waving his money dick around because mes que un crap irritated him about Verratti. If Pogba had a €200m release clause at Juve he would have fucked us too.

That's not true. Neymar clearly wants to win trophies. It shows in his games for club and country. Also why else would he join the Olympic NT? You don't do stuff like that for the money.

Slow down douchen, slow dooooooown.

This is easily one of the dumbest craziest posts you made, take a second look at it.

Hype train become too much, and I rate Kylian VERY HIGH. Mbappe is younger then Neymar, and thats IT when it comes to qualities he has over Nyemar. Mbappee has had an amazing debute season (let have a 2nd season before crowning him miles ahead 2nd best player in the world...), but FFS Neymar has been a phenomenom since he was 16-17, carrying every team on his shoulders, been HUGE for Brazil NT and been great for Barca, he basically does every thing an attacker needs, score, assist, dribble with ease against anyone, insanely quick, works his ass off etc. Litterally insane to say this level of brilliance is miles behind Mbappe, come on wtf?

uh building profile and reputation through winning trophies, or even being eliminated in group stage gives opportunity to showcase oneself, equals more money. Its not complicated.

You can't honestly believe that players are participating in International competitions solely for the love of their countries and or a piece of silverware
