Ok I won't tell you that.

Surely if we finish above Inter we got it right? ;)
It's only one season Bro. Let's not get too carried away. To maintain such high levels, we need to invest, and not only in terms of depth. We didn't have CL football last season, nor did we possess that surprise element. Now, everyone will be out to get us, give 110% when they play us, and unless we upgrade our attack, we will struggle on three fronts (Serie A, Coppa, and the CL). Inter and Milan potentially getting foreign investors perturbs me.

Oh, I get all the CL matches/games live on TV this coming season :p

I think this deal is seriously impressive, agreed, if I were RvP I'd probably think it's too late to change my mind but I'd really be tempted to stay. Unless money is the biggest factor after all.

Post your favoured starting XI please.
If we assume that Santi is coming, Wilshere wont be back for the first half of the season, and RVP staying(highly improbable)

--------------Szcesny---------

--Sagna-----Koscielny---Vermaelen---Santos

-------------Arteta------Song--

--Theo---------Santi----------Podolski

---------------RVP

To be honest, i think playing Santi there might not be the best idea, but I'd prefer having him there than having to alternate between the extremely inconsistent Rosicky and Aaron Ramsey. I'm hoping there is truth to the Sahin rumors, and that it goes through. In that case, i'd play Sahin in a more withdrawn role as a CM alongside Arteta, with Song screening the defense. I'd drop Theo, and play Santi on the right with Podolski on the left. I even wouldn't think that it would be such a disaster if RVP left, in that case.

Though with RVP and those two signings, I really think our midfield and attack will be almost as good as any team out there in the EPL.

Apparently only three players made more than 1000 passes in the final third in La Liga last season. Messi, Xavi and Santi.

I'd have loved to have one of the first two players, but hey, beggars can't be choosers ey?
