arteta with no one else but song in the middle, and i dont think theo should start instead put cazorla there and sahin instead of him. BTW is song really leaving?
That lineup was without Sahin, as it isn't clear whether or not he really was coming. I think you didn't read my post, because i said exactly what you're suggesting ;)

Arteta played that position last season and was a revelation actually. He's much better defensively than he's given credit for. He reads the game very well, and has a good ability to intercept.

Podolski isn't a super player, but he's solid and effective imo. I'm just glad we don't have to play Gervinho next season.

I don't think Song will leave. where will he go? Can't think of any big team he'd go to

I actually like Arteta a lot. And yeah, Gervinho sucks. I'd have gone for Dempsey instead of Podolski but whatever I guess. Arsenal could still crack third place with that team, especially if they keep RvP.

I do too. He was one of our best players last season. Easily our best signing last season too.

Am I the only one who thinks Inter maybe having a quiet Market but an intelligent one? Coutinho, Palacio and Lucas if he comes will all combine really well with Sneijder. Their mid will definitely be dynamic. Defense will need some reshaping, but if Milito stays fit, I'd like to think they would be contenders for the scudetto, along with Nap perhaps.

Roma wants Rhodolfo, the guy we were after.

They want 10mln while offer is 8mln. Old links said his price was 20  when we 'wanted' him.

:D

Agreed. Their defense still sucks though.

Malaga are broke.

Unless there were other clubs interfering in the deal and driving the price up, Arsenal were pretty much free to name the fee they were willing to pay.
Agreed..Was just saying 12.5m is a steal for a player like him.

Break a leg Santi.

Oh and :howler: to however called Podolski a quality player, dude's as overrated as one can get.
So overrated doesnt mean he is quality ? Wonderful logic there..

So what do we think of Milan's mercato if they manage to bring in Kaka and Yanga Mbiwa?
Kaka has been shit for a while now. They will be good enough for Serie A, but I don't see them being any threat whatsoever in Europe.

Their strikers are also rather  so Kaka only won't solve much IMO.

The problem with their strikers is fitness more than quality. If they can keep Pato(impossible?), Cassano and Robinho fit, their strike force would not be so bad.

I think they still need a quality defensive midfielder though. Ambrosini is too old to play week in week out, and they've lost Gattuso and V.Bommel.

If Pato isn't fit I have no idea who will score those goals, because Robinho can't be trusted really.

Agreed about that, I think their midfield is rather weak. But I don't even rate Montolivo and I think Nocerino blows.

Montolivo is no world beater, but he's decent imo. I don't like Nocerino, though he did do good last season.

They bought Gonzalo Rodriguez from Villareal too..

Along with Cuadrado,Viviano,Della Roca,El-Hamadoui and they might add Aquilani to their roster too..
