He can dribble but I agree his assists and goals are too low to justify the price tag, especially with the injuries.

I like him, he has the potential to be a really good player and if we didn't have several major gaps in the squad I'd be all for signing him. But taking a step back the price, his injuries and the fact that he hasn't yet had a season where he has shown a consistent end product/avoided injuries makes me think we should let him develop for another season at Roma and reassess next summer when he has a year left on his contract.

According to reports its going to be similar to the deal we made with Fiorentina - I still not in favor of it unless its an option and not obligation.

His last season digits are pretty similar to what Chiesa did in his last season at Viola:
Chiesa 11g9a in 2820 mins
Zaniolo 8g9a in 2884 mins
It's worth noting that Chiesa was played mainly as central attacker then, but the numbers are petty similar and price should be also close to each other. The only difference is that we are actually buying from stronger club so it might be inflated a but.

"Taking Zaniolo for 50M is madness. There are stronger players at that age & price, and if I was Juve I'd go for someone else."

"For me, he mostly relies on his physicality, he doesn't have that ability to dribble or assist that justifies his price."

The brain surgeon Cassano said this?

All the more reason to sign Zaniolo. Just do the opposite of what that illiterate retard says, and you can’t go wrong.

There are tensions for Roma fans over his Instagram. On Instagram Stories he posted the wishes he received on his birthday from national team colleagues and some friends, Kean for example, but he completely ignored the ones from Roma players. Abraham who initially posted his wishes has removed his post because of this apparently.

A broken clock is right twice a day I guess. But I still think he’s saying this more because he hates Juventus (being the butthurt loser he is) more than him actually believing what he’s saying
No doubt Cassano is a loser. Moreover he’s bidone level expert at anything. But yeah a broken clock is right twice a day. Sadly the day isn’t over yet.

Sounds like the locker room is very soycentric in Rome
