But isn’t Di Maria also RW? Chiesa is way better on the right too. Should get kostic or another LW instead of zaniolo. What’s his position even ? Can’t remember him playing RW for Roma lately ?
Also 50 mil is just plain retarded for a player with 2 ACLs and for his stats…

Dont think for Chiesa is really any big difference if its left or right, Di Maria is only one season so buying Zaniolo makes some sense, but only if we also plan to buy Kostic, because LW is really the position we need to strengthen.
Ideally we would have:
LW: Kostic/Chiesa/Di Maria
RW: Di Maria/Zaniolo/Chiesa
Cuads sticking to RB. dont count for Chiesa at the beggining of the season though, Di Maria is basically here to let him have easier come back.
Some also say Zaniolo as Mezzala which i dont really believe, but also maybe as a CAM or SS sometimes when we have to attack more.
Zaniolo is not my ideal player for this squad too, but surely the talent is there and maybe oru mgmt think we cant miss on that chance. With him, if he suceeds we are probably not a stepping stone like for some brazilian or portugese players, so sticking to top italian talents makes sense

Nicolò #Zaniolo and #Roma will meet tomorrow at Trigoria. The player doesn't hide anymore his wish of joining #Juventus and would have informed his friends and others that he already sees himself as a bianconero. On social media, he would be avoiding to publish anything related to the giallorosso world.
#Roma have reiterated to him that he should present himself during the summer camp and that he should first bring a real offer, without any exchanges and of at least 60mln€. #Juventus are preparing a deal similar to #Chiesa which is an expensive loan with a deferred obligation to buy for a total of 50mln€. The giallorossi would accept the formula but with 10mln more. One thing that could pressure #Roma a lot is the wish of #Zaniolo who would have already said yes to a contract at 4mln€ plus bonus.

It doesn't matter about who's better, it's about being prudent with the rather limited budget we have at the moment. We can easily see out season with Kostic, Di Maria, Chiesa and Cuadrado/Soule as our wingers, and it will cost you at most €18-20m. We can't, however, see out this season with our current defense, and it'll already be an incredibly expensive feat trying to revamp it in time for the start of the season. Buying a player like Zaniolo just because 'but but he's Italian and a juventino' is silly and makes this rebuild unecessarily even harder.
