I think the misconception is that WC players aren't a dime a dozen. There are maybe 20-25 WC in football.
Not every club is going to produce them. Yes, Juventus for our level has not done anywhere near what they should in that department but I would argue thats a byproduct of Italy as a whole. Until recently, Serie A clubs didn't have their U23s play against other professional adults but instead scrimmaged against other U23s squads. This is ridiculous and has since been fixed and our U23 is better for it.
Jokes aside I would love SMS here but I stand by my words that he currently is a big fish in a small pond just like Berardi. If he really wanted to leave Lazio he would have by now, players forced their way out of much bigger clubs. It seems he is satisfied playing for a mid table club with no pressure at all. And yeah, if we can get him give them Rovella or add more cash, Fagioli seems like a real deal.

Hopefully loaned, he needs to play as hes still only a teenager with no real experience above serie C. Dunno what sitting at the end of the bench or repeating in C will accomplish
